"Noise Pollution"

The Hotels night clubs went on until 4am. This keep us awake both of our two nights. There were doormen/bouncers working each evening who seemed intent on keeping residents out as well as any undesirables! Definately would not return to this Hotel. Room service is only available until 9pm. Most Hotels have 24hr room service.

"Room very comfortable and clean, breakfast good, noise unbearable"

We enjoyed the hotel during the day but although we requested a quieter side of the hotel, this was not accommodated. The noise after midnight kept us awake and left us tired during the day.

"Too noisy to sleep until 4.30am"

Everything else was fine, but obviously sleep is crucial. My room was on floor 1, at the front of the building and actually vibrated until 4.30 when the music stopped.

"No Air Conditioning in Rooms"

Bar Staff not very friendly. Resident Bar tiny with no entertainment. Fee of ?3.00 to leave luggage a bit much when most hotels are free.

"Good and well presented hotel for couples "

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel, it was our first stay in dublin and the hotel was situated just outside the city centre which was a nice distance, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was superb. The hotel could be noisy when the nightclub was on but the music was kept at a reasonable level. I would definitely stay here again!

"Lots of Noise"

Nightclub downstairs and noisy road meant I didn`t get to sleep until 3am. Even wearing earplugs!

"Overall was good, even though the rooms seem a little dated."

The only observation or recommendation was that the music played at breakfast time seemed a little inappropriate.

Hotel location was very good, central and only a ten minute walk to main shopping area. Hotel would have scored highly but for the noise from the nightclub downstairs. This went on till 3.30am and made it impossible to sleep. We were moved to a third floor room for our second night and this was slightly better. Earplugs were supplied but totally ineffective. For this reason we would not stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is good in respect of a function going on in the Hotel but we were not sujected to any noise until they started to exit and then for some hours the noise outside was such that I slept very little. The police were involved and it was a very worrying time as we had dogs in the car in the cul-de - sac opposite. We are used to having the dogs allowed into the Hotel with us who are kept in crates and can do no damage.

"Look No Further"

My daughter her friend and I stayed in this Hotel for 3 nights. It was great. The staff, food and the nightlife. Within easy walking distance to the shops and Temple Bar Area. We had a triple room too so it was a lot easier for us. The only downside was that the shower sometimes was cold and hot water sometimes came out of the cold tap but apart from the that BRILL!!!!

"Extremely noisy; poor choice at breakfast and standard of the food left a lot to be desired"

For the record, many of us thought your website was extremely misleading. It stated that booking through you would secure a substantial discount and would include full Irish breakfast in the cost. In the event it did neither: those who booked with the Russell Court direct paid exactly the same as those who booked through you - but had full Irish breakfast included in the price, whereas those couples who booked with you had to pay a ?20 supplement for Irish breakfast. Needless to say, there was a good deal of bad feeling about this, with everyone saying they would never go via an intermediary like you againm, but would always book direct with the hotel. So all in all, the poor quality of the hotel was exacerbated by your misrepresentation and shoddy customer service. I wonder, do the Advertising Standards Authority know of your practices?

"NOT SUITABLE FOR OVER 30`S"

The Hotel is in excellent location for nightlife. This is the noisiest hotel i have ever stayed at and would highly recommend it for the under 30`s. Downstairs has been refurbished but the upstairs bedrooms are now very tired and dated but clean. Plumbing system certainly needs attention. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant but there were very few dubliners working there!! The place was jammed packed at night which is great for the young ones. Bit chaotic trying to get back into hotel when you are a resident because of the queues outside. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to party all night!!! Very expensive in dublin generally but certainly dont expect to get any sleep at this hotel until at least 5.00am.

"Hotel incorporates a night club!"

Which is great if you want to stay up drinking until 3:30am, but don`t stay if you really need a good nights sleep. In fairness they do provide earplugs... The rooms are lovely, fantastic 4 poster bed, green leather chairs, antique furniture.

"Noisy nightclub"

The hotel is in a good location and the facilities were very nice but it was spoilt by the noise. There were three parties going on downstairs in the nightclub on Saturday evening. It was very loud and no-one could get any sleep until at least 4pm in the morning. NOT GOOD for us who were only there for the weekend! We did complain but nothing was done about it! I won`t be returning and would definitely not recommend it to other friends.

"very nice place to stay, the rooms were beautiful"

however, it is a very noisey place so light sleepers stay clear. there is a very loud club near and when the people spill out into the streets it WILL wake you. Also the shower in our room was awful, it had a mind of its own. However, over all we were very happy with our stay, the rooms are truely lovely, the food reasonable, very close to the centre and easy to find.

"Overall Excellent"

Very modern and clean rooms. Outstanding outside bar and niteclub. Very close to restaurants and the Temple Bar area. Can get noisy in the rooms from music from the niteclub so not for those wanting an early night. Ear plugs are supplied by the hotel in the rooms so this should give some idea of the noise, Party animals will love it.
