the hotel it self is amazing and we enjoyed ourselves 99 percent of the time .we were warmly greeted when we arrived in the foyer and the reception staff were friendly.our room was excellent .two things spoilt our stay a little,our room was not cleaned on the second day and we were given no real explanation why,they offered to clean at 17.00 hours but we had been out all day and wanted a rest before dinner.we found that when we either came into the foyer or going out of the foyer the staff our side of reception would either turn their backs on us or completely ignore us .we have never encountered either of these problems in any hotel we have stayed in before,we have stayed in many hotels around the world. I would also like to say the food and the service at breakfast and the service in the bar were first class. .overall we loved our stay in the hotel and the location is excellent.

"Great location for Chelsea with friendly, helpful staff."

I chose the Regency because of it`s proximity to Chelsea Flower Show and the location also proved to be great for South.Kensington tube station, the museums and the shops/restaurants of Kensington, Chelsea & Knightsbridge, all of which were on the doorstep. We were upgraded to a smart room on the top floor which, though fairly small was modern & spotless, as was the bathroom. We were able to check in on arrival at 10am & also received a complementary fruit basket as soon as we got to the room which was a nice touch. I would definitely stay there again.

"Great location, friendly staff."

The room was very well equipped electronically enabling wi fi connection and media connections. However, there was nowhere to plug in an electric shaver. An essential I would have thought in any Hotel!

"Clean and Tidy"

Good Points:The hotel is situated in a great place and is very pleasant and the bedroom was very clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable. Bad Points: the tea/coffee in the room was limited, the bath was tiny (or non existant in another party members room), no iron/iroing board or fridge and the full cooked English breakfast was over priced and when we got it certain elements on the plate were cold! Summary: Lovely hotel, great room and location but they need to work on the `little` things!

"Overall it was good. We only stayed 2 days. In a very convenient situation.We did not eat there"

On arrival recepion was a bit slow. We were asked for a £50 deposit for sundries? Not clear what this was for, but it was returned on leaving. The triple room was satisfactory, the lighting was a bit confusing.The room card turned the lights all on or all off.One small light outside the bath room did come on at night when using the bathroom.Plenty of towels etc, would use it again for a girlie W.E

"Hotel great location."

Hotel great location, staff friendly, rooms nice and clean and comfortable, bed comfortable,however my only complaint shower pressure very poor although very clean. Would definitely stay again.

"4-star?"

The Regency Hotel is rated as a 4-star hotel. I would more consider it as a weak 3-star rate. The rooms are very small and the beds are in fact terrible. The reception service are great. Breakfast expensive and poor. Due to the uncomfortable beds - I recommend to not stay than maximum 2 days.

"A very nice hotel"

The room was very nice and clean, the price fair for its location, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is close to the Albert Hall which we attended. We have just come home and booked another concert. We will be booking our second visit to the Regency. Highly recommended

"Thoroughly Recomendable!!"

This is our second visit to the Regency and each time we have been very happy. Our rooms have been very cosy, especially warm and good beds. The bookings have been completely straight forward and the location is great and easy for a tube station. Thank-you.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Our only disappointment was that there was no shaver socket available in the bathroom. So had to then purchase an adaptor.

"Expensive for what it is but good"

Very good location Nice modern rooms For the price payed i would have expected breakfast to be thrown in and free wifi but you only get the room.

"Clean and convenient"

The Regency Hotel was clean and conveniently located close to the Kensington South station. Check in was a tad slow but there was a large group ahead of us at the time of arrival. As we were early the hotel gladly held our bags until our room was ready. Although the room is small, I have stayed in a room of similar size for twice the price in London. Overall a great experience. I would certainly recommend The Regency and would not hesitate to stay here again.

the temperature control in the room didn`t work, it was always cold and there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room when we arrived

"Hotel good - staff very good and helpful - reacted to complaints where possible."

Bathroom fan not working. Shower head loose and floppy - was fixed second day but should be checked prior. All room entrance doors need soft closers - continually disturbed from 6am by doors slamming in corridor.

Nice hotel with good location for Royal Albert Hall. Our room was quite small although very tastefully decorated but it did lack certain comforts especially in the bathroom, eg no shower caps, body lotion etc which you would normally expect in a 4*hotel.

I have stayed here before, and have made The Regency my first choice place to stay in London. Up to date rooms with excellent facilities and polite efficient staff.

"Lovely hotel in central London"

The staff were friendly and helpful and although the room was small, it was very clean and well equipped. The bathroom was modern and beautifully presented with good quality towels and linen. It was perfect for a short stay in London.

"Excellent Hotel & Efficient Helpful Staff"

Check in was fast & efficient - all positions staffed. The room was very good. Check out equally good. But what made my stay was Leon & Rafic finding a pair of cufflinks for me to wear when I had forgotten mine and then fitting them - great job and many thanks.

Staff at reception were very helpful and pleasant. Room clean and bathroom clean and modern. Good location for visiting Harrods, Buckingham Palace and Kensington gardens and palace. Would certainly recommend this hotel and visit again.

"Great location, newly refurbished rooms and friendly helpful staff"

This is a great hotel in a beautiful part of London. At check in the clerk arranged for us to have rooms adjacent without being asked! Rooms were very smart and comfortable with the luxury of air conditioning which was much needed as this was a very warm weekend. Would certainly recommend this hotel for visiting the museums, Royal Albert Hall and the beautiful South Kensington. Thank you

"Excellent Location and Friendly Staff"

We really enjoyed our stay at the Regency and would recommend the hotel. On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was a little on the small side but quite adequate as we were hardly in it. The beds were very comfy after a long day walking around London!! I would certainly stay there again.
