"Great stay! "
The Regency is a great base when staying in London. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are stylish and clean. Would have been an excellent if check in hadn`t been so slow, though again the receptionist was helpful.

"Lovely but Don`t Expect a Lie-In"
The hotel is excellently located. The lobby lacks warmth but the downstairs lounge, bar and restaurant make up for that. The room is lovely and clean and a decent size but the provision of a refrigerator would be nice. All is quiet and no noise from other rooms -- until the guests (is it above you??) enter their bathroom in the morning: you are then jolted awake thinking that someone is in YOUR bathroom the sound carries so loudly (and this is with your own bathroom door shut). Definitely recommended as long as you are planning early mornings yourself.

"Absolutely excellent hotel."
Three of us from Cornwall stayed there in connection with a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. This hotel is beyond praise. The staff are completely helpful and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel itself is a beautiful structure, and everything is immaculate, both in the guest rooms and elsewhere. We have nothing but the highest compliments for all concerned.

I was surprised that the room did NOT incorporate a shaver/electric toothbrush point. I had not bought my own adapter as I was staying in a London Hotel !! After initially told that I could buy an adapter at the local Pharmacy, a guest fortunately returned a "loaned" adapter. It was primarily designed for overseas 2 pin plugs and NOT for the usual UK round two pin units. Contact was made by holding the plug into the adapter at all times. Success, but very frustrating.

This beautiful hotel is a must ! Ideally located in a lovely part of London, easy access to transport links, with shops, cafes and bars on the doorstep. Spotlessly clean modern bedrooms with memory foam mattresses, quality fitted bathroom with 2 man shower, large choice of fresh food for the continental breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. What more could you ask for to make your stay more pleasurable ?

Hotel was nice, we had breakfast included but it was appalling - sausages not cooked - raw and then the reorder took 35 minutes, when the sausages came my husband had finished his breakfast. Also the tea was dredful - waiters and waitresses could not understand english so whilst pleasant it was a struggle to communicate

Quick check-in, beautiful rooms with spacious bathroom & very comfy bed.. looks small when entering but don`t really need bigger than what you get! Everything you need for a stay really, would 100% recommend, staff were really friendly aswell dealing with our requests.

"Previous stays have been good. It is always clean and well presented and the staff are a delight."
One of us had problems with walking.The room on the first floor was immediately changed to a ground floor roomwhich made a great difference to the comfort of that person. Thankyou! I think you could draw more attention to you downstairs restaurantwhich is also good. we will come again.

We spent four nights at The Regency, returning there after two previous stays. The modern rooms are comfortable if without real character and are scrupulously clean. Breakfasts are very good, with plenty of choice. Staff are without exception extremely pleasant and helpful. Requests are dealt with promptly and courteously. Ideally situated for the Royal Albert Hall and South Kensington museums. We`ll definitely return.

Stayed at The Regency for one night in August, twin room, with my 6yr old daughter. Hotel is in a great location for museums and only a short journey on the underground to West End, though highlight for daughter was being able to get on a double decker bus! (No. 14 takes you past Harrods & to Picadilly). Staff at the hotel were very nice, helpful and pleasant, we were early arriving but checked us in and looked after bag (also looked after bag when we`d checked out the following day). Room was quite small, but you are in central London! Room was immaculate, bathroom modern and clean, bathrobes were a nice touch! Didn`t have breakfast there, plenty of places nearby to choose from. In fact lots of restaurants / bars nearby. Would recommend for families and couples too, 5 stars!!

Clean, comfortable room. However, I never managed to work out the air conditioning/fan system. Open window was not enough to cool the room on a very hot London night. Also, more hooks in the bathroom would have been welcome. Two bath towels could not be hung on the one small hook.

Good sized room (for London) with everything you will need. Very clean and amazingly comfortable bed. Very quiet room. A few minutes walk to the tube. Would definitely book again.

"Wonderful 50th birthday stay"
Thank you Regency for a fabulous weekend. The hotel was a brilliant location for museums, underground without the noise and bustle of the West End. The staff made us feel special. The bedroom was clean, modern and just right. The en-suite was beautifully done. Breakfast was great, hot and all the breakfast staff were attentive and helpful. We would recommend the Regency to anyone and will check availability first at the Regency when we stay again in London.

The overall look and feel of The Regency was very nice, and staff helpful and polite. Our room also was very pleasant, however, lack of water pressure made showering nearly impossible. The pillows were hard and lumpy. Considering one stays at a hotel to sleep and get a good bath/shower, we feel that we did not get either.

"A good total in a nice area"
We liked the Regency the staff were pleasant and helpful, as we arrived someone came down the steps and took our cases from us and the same when we left, everywhere was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. we particularly liked being able to open our bedroom window at night. the only downside was that the room was very small.
