"Convienient at the right price for visiting Rome centre"

We thought the Raganelli was basic, dated and in need of internal renovation bringing it into the 21st Century. However it was comfortable and clean for a for a few days stopover to visit Rome. Recepion staf f were very helpful and knowledgable. Regards....................Roger Olivant

"comfortable,clean,tidy."

What was lacking in the decoration of the hotel was made up by the excellent manor and attitude of the staff.It was our 33 years of marriage trip to Rome, to find a bottle of bubby in our room on the exact day was a really nice touch.Well done.

"Dreadful Bedrooms, Smelled Continually of Cigarette Smoke, Not near the Vatican at all"

Apart from the staff, who were very friendly and helpful, there is not much to say about the hotel. The rooms had not been decorated for at least twenty years. The curtains in the room were filthy. and the windows did not insolate the road noise (Via Aurelia is a dual carriageway). In the area there were few eating places of quality, and there was no eating facilitlites in the hotel after breakfast - which was mostly pre-prepared and not fresh. There was no fresh juice or coffee - both machine provided. The most unpleasant aspect was that our room continually filled with cigarette smoke from neighbouring rooms which was disgusting. On the plus side - this made us leave early in the morning and not return until late, saw we saw a huge amount of the city - this hotel cannot be recommended, especially for a longer stay or for families.

"EXCELLANT CLOSE TO VATICAN"

STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE.HOTEL VERY CLEAN AND WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE VATICAN.
