"Highly recommended - would use again"

The air conditioned rooms are very compact but decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The ensuite has no bath but otherwise is deluxe. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful (and English speaking) and the breakfast was spot on with hot and extensive cold tables. There was no restaurant and the outside patio area was not available, nice bar and lounge though. Good location at the top of the Via Del Corso.

The hotel is well-placed for visiting many attractions, without being in the middle of the tourist circus. It`s very comfortable, with good bathrooms and excellent food. The service was courteous without being sycophantic. Lounge area pleasant but music a bit intrusive. Smallish rooms but this is Rome.Delightful.

"Lovely Hotel, great location, friendly staff. I loved the breakfast room too."

The rooms are very small. The standard room was far too small and the upgrade cost us more money and still a little small with not much closet space. The rooms although clean and well made up are very small and this could be the only reason why I might not return but the rest of the hotel was lovely.

"Wonderful hotel in a wonderful city"

Great location - within walking/metro distance of every historical site. Accommodation and service was first class. Rooms small but very tastefully decorated. Would highly recommend this hotel.

"A really great stay."

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean in a really convienient location, near the metro and in walking distance of most sights. Before I booked this I read the previous comments about the size of the rooms, however, although the bathroom was really small the room wasnt uncomfortably small at all. I would definately go back and really recommend this hotel.

"Excellently situated, with very friendly staff though rooms a little small."

We love this hotel for its superb location and very friendly & helpful staff. It is ideally situated for the Borghese Park, the Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain. The continental breakfast is very comprehensive. The only thing that prevents us giving this hotel an overall excellent rating is the size of the standard rooms. However, they are clean and comprehensively equipped & appointed. We would definitely retrun to this hotel the next time we travel to Rome.

"Great place to stay."

Nice hotel. Rooms clean and well furnished. Staff very helpfull and friendly. Good area within walking distance of most of the sites. We had a meal in the hotel the first night we stayed and were very dissapointed certainly the worst meal we had during our week in Italy. Give the restaurant a miss and youll have a great stay.

the hotel is situated in an excellent position for sightseeing. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. However, the room was extremely small and the air conditioning was blowing out hot air, making the room extremely uncomfortable. The staff were unable to help as they said it was a design fault. Hence several sleepless nights and will not stay there again.

"Good location and service. Decor good but rooms and bathrooms small."

We enjoyed a seven night stay with excellent service from all the staff. We would have liked a bath as well as a shower and found circulation space limited in bedroom and bathroom.Our room was noisy as it faced the main road but location was excellent.We did not try the restaurant or room service but breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

A Very good quality 4 star hotel, well maintained , clean and comfortable, the price of food and beverages were in keeping with restaurants and bars around the main historic cites. we would recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues

"A very enjoyable stay at a good hotel."

Our short stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. All the staff were very polite, spoke excellent english and were very helpful with any queries that we had. Their recommendation of a restaurant for dinner was very good and they helped with reserving a table (an important consideration for a Saturday night in Rome). We found the hotel to be well located. Everthing was in reasonable walking distance - and walking is definitely the way to enjoy this city - but the hotel was in a sufficiently quiet area to not be disturbed at night. Will stay again......

"VERY NICE HOTEL AND LOCAL TO ALL"

THE HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT POSITION FOR EVERYTHING. THE STAFF WERE PLEASANT,ESPECAILLY THE BAR STAFF. THE DECOR WAS EXCELLENT AND THE RESTAURANT SERVED BEUTIFULL FOOD. ALL ROOMS WERE SPOTLESS AND CLEANED EVERY DAY. MY ONLY TIP IS TO GO FOR A BIGGER ROOM THEN THE STANDARD DOUBLE ESPECIALLY IF YOU DO NOT LIKE INCLOSED ROOMS

"Staff were fantastic but don`t plan on swinging any cats in your room."

Very friendly, informed and efficient staff. All will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. Was able to walk to many of the attractions even the Colosseum (although you will need comfy shoes for that stroll). Very close to the shopping area, if thats your bag. Only things which let the hotel down was the small size of the rooms and that our room had a shower only and not a bath. One thing to note - the flat fee to the hotel from Ciampino airport does not apply - its just outside of the old wall - so don`t get ripped off by the taxi driver like we did.

"Lovely Hotel, Well Placed. Great Staff"

Slightly out of the centre to the North of the old city but still in reach of everything. We stayed for three nights and walked everywhere. Spanish Steps are close. Colosseum is the furthest we went but still easily walked. Lovely décor, great breakfast. Rooms rather small for the class of hotel. I would stay again without hesitation.

Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean (if a little small) room, perfect location (being quite in the evenings, yet walking distance from all of Rome`s sites). About 150m from the metro, (get the A line to Flamino, take the left tunnel, go right to the end and then turn right and up the steps). The restaurant is also very good. The restaurant is closed on Sunday, but try the little pizzeria just down the road near the Piazza Flamino. The free internet access in the lobby is also very convenient for planning the trip home.

The staff, food and efficiency were superb. The room was palatial but built for dwarves. The location was acceptable but not great. All things considered I would definitely recommend the hotel and hope to return in the future.

"Superb staff and service."

While some of the rooms are `compact` they are all fitted out to an excellent finish spec`. Toiletries are wonderous (ETRO). An unusual access via two lifts to the upper floors but otherwise great value for money.The main `jewel` of this hotel are the staff. The attention, kindness and service is that only expected in a Gleneagles or Savoy. Many thanks to them!
