"High quality room, low cost."
Obvious recent refurbishment to rooms - very good and so clean. Excellent service from all staff. No food taken so not able to comment. Excellent location for theatre land and the Thames. My wife loved the "double" shower heads.

The recently refurbished xxxxx xxxxx hotel offers great accommodation in a fantastic location. The rooms are well furnished, modern and stylish with excellent walk in rain showers. The desk staff were excellent and happy to help. Worth a stay!

"Very well situated hotel for tourist activities"
The map provided relating to area was useless, too small a print and unhelpful if looking for specific venues. A map from a theatre ticketing office just around the corner, showing the theatre district was clear and precise and easy to follow.

This is a really good central London hotel. The location is perfect for getting around the capital. We stayed here approx. 8 years ago and on that basis booked again. The bedooms were small but perfectly functional, with excellent bathroom facilities. We booked on a room only basis and there was some confusion as to how much to charge for breakfast. On check in we were told £10 each, on arrival in the restaurant on Sunday morning the tariff was £6.95 each, and on Monday morning £16.95 was the rate. After negotiation at reception £10 per person per day was agreed, apart from this confusion an excellent stay and would definitely rebook.

was very impressed with hotel direct! had never heard of them before but was pleasantly supprised with easy booking and great communications they even check your booking with hotel and email to show its been done. the xxxxx xxxxx is very well placed for the west end only 7 minutes walk from piccadilly circus underground. staff very nice and helpful. room was spotless and well furnished. only thing i would say is that when i booked i didnt book breakfast as it was listed as £30 extra, hotel offered it for £10 each on arrival, but opted for mcdonalds which is 1 mins walk away! very pleased none the less will definately stay again and use hotel direct.

Hotel was very clean and staff extremely friendly. The room was small but adequate. It was a brilliant location as it only took five minutes to walk there, and really close to the tube and shops.

Hotel was good but i was offered to upgrade on the day to a executive room which would have gowns,slippers and chocolates. this did not appear till 7pm and no chocolates to be seen:-(

"Best service I have experienced in London"
We travel to London perhaps once or twice a year for trips to the West End Theatres principally, and have stayed in a lot of different hotels over the years. I have to say that the staff at the xxxxx xxxxx were the most welcoming and helpful I have experienced. The service at breakfast was a very refreshing change from being shown to a seat and left to fend for oneself. Tea. toast and organge juice [ including top ups !] were served at our table and we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The hotel is a five minute walk from Leicester Square, so if you are after discount theatre tickets you are well placed to walk round to the tickets booths to seek a bargain. There are also lots of theatres within walking distance. We would certainly stay there again.

I was agreeably surprised at how close to the theatres and art galleries this hotel is. The reception staff were most helpful and the restaurant staff very friendly. The breakfast menu is excellent too. A little gem right in the centre of London - excellent! I wouldn`t hesitate to use it again, if the price remains competitive.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. The rooms were in very good condition and were decorated nicely and very nice looking rooms. The staff were brilliant quick check in and check out very polite and helpful in giving directions and dealing with our needs. The hotel is in a nice secluded area but in an ideal spot in London very close to the west end and a short and walk to the London eye, ect... The iron wasn`t great and there was only one lift working that was quite small which wasn`t ideal but other than that no complaints.
