"One night`s stay"

The hotel was excellent, it was the first time that we had stayed here and would highly recommended it to our family and friends. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable, had a great night`s sleep, very rare when I`m away from home. The buffet breakfast was outstanding full English and continental as much as you could eat. The location of the hotel was a big plus for us as we had booked to see a show so it was less than a 10 minute walk away. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again.

"In room breakfast"

We pre ordered breakfast for two occupants in room during our stay. Breakfast came at the time requested but dispite there being 2x juices,enough cold toast,hot chocolate and pastries for two people we were given one cup to share the hot drink and all the full English breakfast for two people on one plate! I went to the breakfast room and spoke to a member of staff,who asked for another plate and cup,plus a couple of items of food that were missing from my wife`s order be delivered to the room.After a wait of at least 10 minutes my appetite lost and the items we already had gone cold,room service appear with a plate,cup and missing food items and asking me to sign another check for room service charges.A disgrace!Five star prices and not five star service.not surprisingly the customer service and appoligies improved straight after the event once a quick moan had been logged with reception.Too little to late I will not be staying or recommending this hotel to anyone

"disappointing"

service was terrible except for the reception checking in and out. Restaurant service slow. Waited 1 hour for lunch and then one was served when the other 5 people had finished eating. Didn`t seem to have enough staff in the dining areas - at breakfast tea and coffee were not replenished and the dirty plates were not cleared away. Room was small and not up to 5 star expectation. Bathroom was basic and the toilet flush wasn`t working properly.

only point against cook breakfast could have been cooked fresh rather than the soggy mess in canteens, excellent choices of breakfast food

"Very comfortable room coupled with excellent service"

We were most impressed with both the hotel, its facilities and its staff and with the service we received from Hotel Direct. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The highlight was the bed which was extremely comfortable and enabled us to get a really good night`s rest after a long and tiring day. All the staff that we encountered went out of their way to be helpful and provided an excellent, friendly, service. We wouldn`t hesitate to use it again.

"Fantastic location fab staff"

So central. Didn`t need to use any public transport. Staff were so friendly, warm and helpful. Rooms a good size and everything at hand. Didn`t use much if facilities as only short stay but would do on nxt trip. Would defo stay here on every trip to London.

"great location great hotel! "

Had a great stay at Le xxxxx hotel. ..a stylish hotel, friendly, helpful staff, a large, toasty warm room and a super comfy bed. Breakfast in the terrace bar was delicious, a good hot and cold buffet and views to die for! A super location too...would highly recommend. Only slight negative was that the corridors that the rooms run off are a bit tired and tge paintwork needs some TLC, a minor issue that no effect on my overall positive views of this lovely hotel.

"Website Facilities Incorrectly advertised"

Web Site shows boxing punch bag and gloves etc within gym - these are NOT at the Hotel - very disappointment as partner needed to train and we only booked this hotel for that facility/reason

"Great service."

Le xxxxx Piccadilly has wonderful attentive staff throughout the hotel. The bedrooms are very comfortable and clean, excellent breakfast, only downside a bit of a glitch with the TV reception. Perfectly located, very easy to reach West End, Covent Garden, Landmarks, good bus/tube/rail links.

"Good hotel, but some minor problems"

We have recently spent 2 nights at Le xxxxx Hotel, Piccadilly. It has a superb location and generally we enjoyed our stay. However there were a few minor problems. Firstly the bath-towels are rather small. Secondly there were very few accessible power sockets in our room and this was particularly a problem when using the hair-drier. The air-conditioning was noisy and the room became uncomfortably warm when it was switched off. Apart from that the room was very quiet and we enjoyed our breakfasts.

Absolutely fabulous hotel and staff. Arrived at 9:30 in the morning and they managed to get a room ready straight away for us. Room was really lovely, clean and the bed was so comfy. Fantastically located for the shops and the theatre. Room service was brilliant and so was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend and re visit!

"Great hotel"

The position of Le xxxxx is marvellous. Opposite my favourite bookshop - Hatchards, and favourite food/restaurants - Fortnum and Masons, and with Bond Street shops within a 5 minute walk, it is perfectly positioned for a girly Saturday. Shaftesbury Avenue is also 3 minutes away. The rooms are large, and although there is no `lounge`, the basement pool is the best in central London. My husband`s criticism is that the bar only serves bottled beer - but the cocktails are great. Will be back soon.

"Wonderful over night stay"

we stayed for 1 night on 24th august, the hotel couldn`t have been better situated.right next to piccadilly circus and only a short walk away from charing cross station ( 10 mins ). our room was more than adequate and very spacious for the centre of london, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful at all times and the facilities were as good as you could want.breakfast in the lounge bar consisted of buffet hot and cold foods with full english breakfasts available and cakes and cereals ,juices and fruits etc. overall i would highly recommend this hotel and if i`m in london again this hotel will be the first place of call.

"Booked for three... catered for two."

We booked a three bed room. It was set up for two, and we finally had room service set up the third bed at 10.30 p.m. We had to request additional towels, and ended up sharing 2 mugs, and one English breakfast tea bag! The standard of cleanliness was acceptable, although there was a large accumulation of dust in the bathroom vents, and the mini bar was so dusty that we chose not to use anything from it. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. All a little disappointing after the grandeur of the foyer, and the excellent attentions of the staff team.

"Location very good."

Room standard ok, breakfast poor, pool and facilities general would rate as good 3-4 star. Rooms on deal are the probably the lesser quality and located rooms. In summary adequate not 5 Star.

"Brilliant hotel unfortunate about the breakfast"

Hotel was beautiful staff friendly but the breakfast was disappointing the cooked food was like warm the Greek yoghurt was Luke warm and the staff were busy but not looking after us after such a relaxing stay the pre booked breakfast was sub standard to the rest of the hotel in my opinion don`t prebook the breakfast order off the menu fresh and just cooked

"Very Nice hotel, but maybe trying too hard"

The hotel was very nice, but felt they tried too hard at some points which meant basic things were missed. Example, with breakfast you got a nice posh fruit smoothy each in a shot glass, very `Master chef`. but the hash browns in the buffet were rubbery and there was no margarine option, just butter which I personally can`t eat. Nice long late check out though and we did get a room upgrade. Concierge was helpful too.

"Excellent location and services"

Perfectly located with easy access for sightseeing, eating, shopping, entertainment... Spacious and clean rooms. Great amenities/hotel services and extremely helpful and courteous staff. Trendy bar and great onsite restaurant. Buffet breakfast offered fantastic choices. We will definitely return!!!

"Very happy with our stay"

Overall our experience at Le xxxxx was very good. The location was excellent, only a few minutes walk from the theatre and close to Regents Street and Oxford Street for the shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful and check-in was swift. I requested a room on a high floor as had read comments from previous guests regarding the street noise. We stayed on the 6th floor and apart from the odd siren we didn`t find it noisy. The room was for 2 adults and 1 child and was a bit squashed for 3 to be honest but apart from that it was very comfortable, clean and the bed was nice and big and very comfortable with gorgeous feather pillows. Breakfast was buffet was okay but there wasn`t a great deal of choice so we requested an omelet and some boiled eggs which were lovely. We would stay again but maybe splash out on a larger room next time if we can afford it.

"Not 5*"

We found this hotel to be on the mediocre side of 5*, although I had emailed in advance explaining that we were staying for a 50th Birthday we were put in a room right in the corner of the hotel which had a lovely view of people at their desks in the next building, the room itself was spacious with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom had no separate shower & was needing a bit of TLC, paint coming off around window, flush on toilet left a lot to be desired, no extractor fan. Overall I would probably rate this hotel as a pretty average four star, no where near the 5 star hotels in Dubai & such like.

"Great location"

The hotel has a really good location right on Piccadilly but the room was a little tired and uninspiring which was a real disappointment considering this is a 5 star hotel, Breakfast was an absolute feast with just about every thing you could possibly think of available at one of the numerous buffet tables.

"5 stars! Made the weekend "

Very good hotel friendly staff and was upgraded to deluxe apron arrival which we checked in 1 hours early with no problem. The situation of the hotel is brilliant everything was walking distance food theatre casino etc, Would visit again!
