"Stunning Views and friendly staff"

Perfectly positioned hotel looking out over Tower Bridge (book a river view room). My girlfriend was on crutches due to an accident a few days before and the staff were so kind and helpful. View from the room on floor 3 was breathtaking, looking over Tower Bridge and the Shard. We enjoyed the Jack Daniels bar in the evening with similar night views. Will definitely come back.

"Perfect hotel in stunning location"

Wow, what a hotel. We stayed here on Fri 17th Nov room 777 for one night. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade to have a free mini drinks bar in room but as we don`t really drink and we`re planning on seeing all the sights opted to stick to our original choice. So pleased we did. Our room was stunning. Facing right out onto the river Thames and right next to the tower bridge. It was stunning all lit up on the night time we slept with the curtains open most of the night. The room was spacious enough for 2 people. Loads and loads of storage. Piping hot shower that didn`t trickle, definitely worth mentioning. Room had all the facilities you would need, kettle, complimentary water bottles, iron, iron board, a safe, toiletries. Staff were great and would definitely come back again especially to this room. Thank you for such an amazing stay in your gorgeous hotel.

Hotel in a great location staff very helpful rooms are clean but need a bit if tlc the bathroom had mould around the bath which looked unsightly! Bed was comfortable the room had excellent views

"Tower Hotel "

Have stayed at this hotel 4 times location is great right by Tower Bridge and the Tower of London Tower Hill tube station is 5mins walking up the road, St Catherine Dock is right behind the hotel with plenty of places to eat and drink we will definitely be staying again 128512;

"Does what it says on the tin"

Phenomenal view and location - the hotel building itself is not the prettiest and perhaps some of the woodwork in the room was a little tired but the welcome was warm, the breakfast as you would expect for this standard of hotel and the bed excellent.

"To the Tower"

I checked in and the receptionist asked if I wanted to upgrade my room to a much better one and told me I would have a `beautiful room with a beautiful view` as it was my daughters first time in London I agreed. My room was not `beautiful` if this was the upgrade how bad are the normal rooms? There were many issues but I thought at least I still had the `beautiful` view, no, looking out of the window I can see loads of air conditioning units, I could see Tower bridge but the window was that dirty the view was not `beautiful` either, so if your offered an upgrade my advice would be refuse, The only saving grace was when I spoke to reception the lady I dealt with was helpful and refunded my upgrade payment. I have stayed in much better hotels in London for a lot less money.

"Needs updating"

Bedroom was good but bathroom in room 217 needs a total refurbishment! Breakfast at £22 each was a no no. Both my wife and I have stayed here before but sadly we will not be returning.

"Good quality hotel"

The hotel was great, a little tired in places but good location and the staff were pleasant to deal with. I had my heavily pregnant daughter in law with me who can`t walk too far and was pleased that i managed to get a parking space at the hotel without any issues.

"Ideal choice"

Visited the Tower many times, love the location, hotel rooms are tired now and bathroom old fashioned but adequate. Great price though, and right beside our favourite spot, st Katherine`s Dock

"Good - Concierge service, Bed Bad - everything else"

Can back from concert no food other than snacks available. One of the bedside lights did not work; shower head needed cleaning; no hotle info available either in booklet form or as a menu on the TV. (How do you activate the heated towel rail?) There was more detail, but lifes` too short. Would not stay there again.

The hotel break was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and my wife`s 70th Birthday. We had an excellent room with views right on to Tower Bridge. The breakfast was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The overall experience of the Tower Hotel was excellent.

"Amazing view of tower bridge "

Lovely hotel, perfect destination for visiting London. The views from our room were outstanding; we were on the 4 th floor . 5 minute Walking distance to the Tower of London, Thames city cruise, Tower Bridge & lots more. Room was a bit tired & bathroom very small but perfectly adequate for our needs. The night time views from our window were spectacular, which far out weigh the deco of our room. I would return without a doubt. Restaurant also very nice with more modern deco. Very friendly staff & reasonable pricing on everything we visited in London 128149;128149;

"Very welcoming"

Room was tired looking, but very clean. A mix up regarding room was quickly resolved with an apology, and compensation which included breakfast for the duration of our stay. All staff were friendly and helpful especially Lyla the duty manager who dealt with our complaint in a professional mannere. We will definitely return. Mr & Mrs B Rosser

Pros: Brilliant location and close to tube station, lovely views from all 3 rooms we booked, the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The staff we encountered were pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Cons: Furnishings and bathroom could do with a refurb, the air con needs to be more powerful particularly during a London heatwave as we experienced because the rooms were stifling at night. Would have been good if the minibar worked also. Without these issues would have rated as excellent. Overall though we loved it and would stay again.

"Fantastic hotel"

The tower hotel was great for our short stay at London. The hotel is situated in a lovely part of London - right along the bridge. The staff were some of the best I have come across, they were welcoming, polite and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean tidy and well equipped and the breakfast was also a great bonus. Would most definitely stay here again.

Was told the hotel was near the show but it took half an hour by taxi and cost 30 pounds each way.Lighting poor in bathroom to shave /makeup.Hotel position excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.

"View amazing, room quality poor"

The lady on reception was lovely. We upgraded our room, and whilst we had an amazing view, the room itself was disappointing. The window was filthy, we tried to clean it to appreciate the view we had paid extra for! The bathroom was very tired, the toilet seat was broken and the whole room was quite grubby.

"Convenient location"

The Tower Hill hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff are very helpful and friendly - cannot fault this. The hotel bedrooms are sadly in need of a freshen-up as they are tired-looking and worn; the air-con didn`t seem to be working properly at all leaving the room stuffy. Otherwise fine.
