" Disabled access difficult but possible."

This hotel is in the right place for anyone with a wheelchair. center of town close for a wheelchair to get to. power chair even better. Entering the hotel difficult, they have a ramp up to the door. but the door is double but only one side is open. No disabled opener button. if you can not walk you must get some one to ask the check in desk to unlock the second double door. All of this hotel is dark, no bright place at all. even the room faced a brick wall.. Nightmare or what. In fact in my case not that bad.. I did discover a way to get into town not easy but possible. As a disabled friendly hotel I would give them an 6. staff not that interested in making sure your able to cope. but corridors did not have those evil fire doors. Breakfast average. rooms almost clean. beds comfortable. But have to say why is every area so dark. not just at this hotel but on average in every public venue. Is this a Dublin thing.???

The hotel was very nice. Good location. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. However the room we stayed although very spacious and nice was very close to a boiler or generator so was very noisy at night. The lock on the window in the room was broken and thus could be opened very easily from outside. On the whole I would stay again.

"trip to Beyonce"

i stayed at the belvedere with my 2 teenage daughters while in Dublin to see Beyonce. The location was excellent. it was just as the website described 5 minutes walk to the city centre. there was no noise in the area so we slept all night. the hotel was clean, we had a nice bathroom, beds comfortable, staff nice. We had dinner in the hotel bar, which was lovely. the only thing was we missed the breakfast as the receptionist told us breakfast finished at 11.00 whereas it finishes at 10.00 during the week, but that was just something small. i would definitely recommend this hotel, and when i am in Dublin again for a concert i would definitely stay here again, and both my daughters said the same.

Felt very looked after, staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay at the Belvedere hotel again and would also recommend it. Was able to leave my suitcase in a secure room, which I felt safe leaving it there until my flight.

Good value hotel, centrally located. Couple of gripes: booked two twin rooms, but were allocated two four-bedded rooms which looked like a dormitory. However, very the excellent and helpful Tony directed us to two freshly decorated and refurbished rooms (we were happy to accept new paint smell) which were very comfortable and well furnished. Annoyed first thing in the morning by pigeons moaning and loafing about outside (suggest the hotel gets some pigeon deterrent spikes put up outside the windows - there was rather too much evidence of a large colony of them). One criticism of the lobby decor: Nasty, stark low energy bulb lighting which does not give a welcoming feel to an otherwise comfortable and friendly hotel. Suggest some large table lamps about the place to give a more intimate ambience and to complement the new decor. That`s all !

"excellent location, lovely hotel"

I stayed at the Belvedere Hotel for one night and really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very helpful and their was always someone at reception, even when we checked in very late. The room was clean and tidy and very good value for money. Location is excellent, right in the centre of the city. I would stay here again.

"Good Experience"

First trip to Dublin with my daughter to celebrate her 16th birthday. Decidedto do flights and accomodation separate as the cost works our alot cheaper. Have had bad experiences in the past with booking hotel reservations & turning up to find we were not on their system. Found hotels direct fantastic even reconfirming our reservations shortly before departure. HOtel was in a good central location, for price could not fault it clean/comfortable room. My only gripe would be in the bathroom it was a fixed shower head instead of one you could take off wall. But that`s my personal choice and really nothing to complain about. Overall would book again.

I would prefer to see more Irish staff employed here. Shower head in room 422 needs attention. Good breakfast for an additional â?¬8.00. Otherwise, good location in a quiet city center area.

"We enjoyed our stay very much at the Belvedere."

We would certainly stay at the Belvedere again, very large rooms, helpful and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Food and service in restaurant very nice too. Hopefully we can return someday:)

"Hotel was good although window view obscured, but room was clean."

Breakfast was cold and items limited. Although topped up after we had ate. Had better breakfast for half the amount in the hotel. On departure we checked out and had a long wait. It was raining and asked for coffee mid afternoon and was told the cafe down the road would be the only place.

"noise preventing us to get aq decent nights sleep!"

hotel was fine the noise from Barrys across the road kept us awake most of Friday night,we did get a move to another room for Saturday but sorry to say another sleepless night!! The shouting and yelling from outside on the street went on all night!! This sadly to say would put us off ever booking hotel again.

"Good value for money "

When we arrived we were told that we had 2 double rooms even though we had asked for 2 twins. The receptionist immediately checked and found 2 rooms with a double and single bed, this meant the rooms were quite large. She was very helpful as were all the staff. We had paid for room only but purchased a voucher for â?¬20 and had a 2 course evening meal and breakfast. Both were good value and very nice. For the overall price we paid all 4 in my party were pleased with both the hotel and location and would highly recommend it.

"Value for money"

I stayed there for 3 nights the twin/double rooms were very big. heated well as weather was very cold outside. The bar staff were very freindly and made me feel very welcomed. 10 min walk from temple bar and easy to find on the way home (if you get my drift)

"Overall, fairly good. Staff nice and helpful. Refurbishment needs to be completed"

Rooms obviously been repainted but things not quite finished. For instance, the bath was old and the grout mouldy. Tea area stained and old. But apart from that the room was good.

"Good location and great value"

Hotel was in a good location, 15 min walk to Temple Bar area. Three of us staying in a triple room which had a double and two single beds, room was decent size and bathroom was too. Room was very clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and good value at 8 euro. Don`t have anything negative to say about this hotel and would definately stay here again.
