I`ve stayed in wonderful hotels all over the world, and seldomly have I come across such amazing customer service. The rooms (whilst a little small) are each individual and sumptuously decorated. I can`t rate this hotel highly enough. Stay there, you`ll be glad you did!

"Excellent food and cleanliness. Staff exceptional."
We chose this hotel because it was not too far from the finish line of the London Marathon that we were taking part in. We could not have made a better choice. The hotel was tastefully decorated, clean, food was excellent and the Staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Next time we visit London for a more relaxing stay we will be staying here. A little bit pricey but worth it!

"Could hardly fault our stay"
Everything was clean and well appointed. Staff were polite and attentive without being overbearing. Only slight fault was breakfast took a long time to come and the order was slightly wrong when it did come, but we were not in a rush and it was corrected without fuss.

we stayed at this lovely english hotel for one night. but we were given a wrong type of room and our discussion with the staff got nowhere , since we were late for the meeting that we had to attend we gave up in the end and stayed at the the room ( which was lovely but not a junior suite that we booked). On the first working day after our stay,I had a call on my mobile from the main manager . A lovely very polite gentelman who aplogised for the mistake and offered us a complementary stay in the junior suite.I can`t think of any better customer care. will be a regular customer !

"Great Hotel and well worth the stay..."
4 of us stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it lived up to its impeccable reviews. The rooms were charming and extremely functional with an amazing attention to detail. Good central location and extremely friendly staff, the best we have ever stayed in within London and we will certainly be back to stay again in the future, in general, a first class experience !!!

"We found everything about this hotel wonderful."
We didnt get chance to use the dining room for dinner due to our schedule but the breakfast was excellent. I was impressed by the attentive service we received from everyone to such a extent that we were quite stunned one night when the night receptionist didn`t smile at us, it was quite funny. My wife will now insist that every time we visit London the Chesterfield Mayfair will be our first option. Oh and finally I picked up a bug on the last day of our stay and our train home was at 19.30. This hotel without any fuss were quite happy for us to keep our room all afternoon. At a time of such doom and gloom the Cesterfield Mayfair is all sunshine. Give yourself a treat.

very good area. Nice staff and good bedrooms. The water tanks were beside our room no.319 and was noisey when others had a bath. On our first night the room above us had a bath at 4.38 am and the tank noise woke me up. That was terrible.

Everyone was so happy and friendly and helpful. The room was the size you expect in a city i.e. not very big, but it had everything we needed and was very quiet. Tastefully decorated and of a good standard. Breakfast was excellent and room service food was good, if a little cold by the time it reached the 6th floor. We were only there one night, but it really made the weekend, thank you.

We were extremenly happy with the hotel. The location was great. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. We had been given a smooking room but they upgraded us immediately the problem was dedected. We highly recommend it.

We were celebrating our honeymoon. We requested a bottle of champagne for the room and a romantic turndown was suggested by the hotel. However, they forgot the champagne (although charged for it, awaiting money back) and forgot the turndown!!! I was not impressed to say the least! The evening meal was good when we were eventually given our menus and drinks, which the waiter ended up giving us as complimentary for our wait. It was a very special day for us as we saved up for some 5 star treatment but didn`y get it, unfortunately.

My wife and I have stayed at the Chesterfield three times since December and have had a wonderful time on each occasion. The staff are most courteous and friendly, the facilities excellent. This is now our home away from home.

Although I only stayed for one night, I can only praise the hotel and its staff who were excellent. The rooms are very well fitted out and larger than many hotel rooms that I have stayed at in London. Great Value with excellent services and a superb breakfast. Rod Parry
