"Wonderful hotel, wonderful pleasant, friendly and helpful staff"

This was a last minute weekend break and the choice of the Chesterfield Mayfair made the weekend a memorable experience. We would defintely return and would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to family and friends.

Easy to find good location. Staff very helpful. The only dissapointment was the size of the room and bathroom. The website leads you to believe the rooms are spacious. I was in a superior king I think a standard double would be a shoe box. Generally a good stay

"Best i have ever stayed in."

I have stayed in many hotels over the past 15 or so years, both through business and socially, b ut this hotel is far and beyond the best, for me a hotel is not all about the decor etc etc, please dont get me wrong the chesterfield has lovely decor, ut that is not the stand out attribute of the chesterfield hotel. What makes the chesterfield stand above the rest is the staff, i have never been made to feel so welcome and at home as i did here, the staff really cannot do enough for you, room service is excellent, food in butlers is fantastic, and i really do reccomend the afternoon tea in the conservatory, simply out of ths world. Thank you all at the chesterfield for making this london trip a very memorable one, i will most certainly be seeing you again on my next trip to london.

"A very charming hotel in a lovely location, would definitely recommend it!"

We only stayed one night, but the attention to detail was impressive. We were upgraded because there were no non-smioking rooms left and the smell of smoke did llinger, but that was our only fault. The concierge was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and after a days walking, it was a great delight to return to a tub of foot cream on my pillow!! Breakfast was excellent, with lots of hot options beyond the usual full english and all the staff were very helpful and friendly.

"Excellent London Hotel"

I don`t usually sleep well in hotels but did so at the Chesterfield. Breakfast & accommodation both of the expected high standard for a hotel of this quality. The general personnel at the Hotel are easily the most attentive I`ve encountered in London yet....highest commendations.

perfect location for a sight seeing / theatre trip to london. Hotel very comfortable, breakfast excellent. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Delighted we chose this hotel. We will be back.

"An excellant reasonably priced hotel conveniently situated in the heart of London"

All of staff very polite and helpful. Hotel generally well situated to London sights and amenities yet in a quiet location. Rooms are compact but well appointed and kept clean and tidy. Very good choice of options for breakfast. Only gripe is that internet access was not available in room but was available in basement.

"Great hotel!"

This hotel has been the best I have stayed in..and I have traveled a lot. We got upgraded to a very lovely room! The breakfast included was lovely..breakfast in bed! I would highly recommend this hotel...great location, I love the Green Park area- lovely to walk around and the hotel is close to many great attractions!

apart from our room not being ready, arriving after 14:00 to book straight in, the staff were very helpful in ensuring our comfort and upgrading our room was nigh on perfect...room was outstanding ( the berkely suite ), staff very helpful and freindly and the morning breakfast was all you could want/eat...and more. will definately use the chesterfield mayfair for future london stays as long their excellent standards are kept up!

"Excellent hotel to stay at when visiting London"

We stayed at the Chesterfield hotel for two nights and loved every minute of it.The room was perfect ,the dining room,the bar area,and the rest of the hotel was again perfect.The staff at the hotel were very polite and could not do any more to make our stay one to remember.We will without doubt be returning for another stay.

"excellent hotel inthe heart of london"

we stayed at this hotel for our wedding anniversary on the 1st august. The staff could nt do enough to help you. The restaurant called the butler`s restaurant was outstanding 1st class food. We would certainly go back to this hotel again when we visit the capital again. we would highly recommend this hotel for anyone.

This hotel is old school believing in service and quality. Excellent overall, rooms have everything required although ours was slightly small. Very pleasant bar area and dining room, the food was good and service wonderful. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

"mayfair made easy"

A weekend in london with two of our favourite restaurants booked all we needed was somewhere to stay. We ended up chooseing the chesterfield as we wanted somewhere central for our needs and we also like the area around sheperds market. We were not disapointed from the greeting by the doorman to the reception smiles abound the hotel is beutifully appointed with friendly and courtious staff , the room was exceptionally clean and more than adaquate for our needs a special mention should go to the restuarant for a wonderful freshly cooked breakfast. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked a room for the forth coming bank holiday

"A GREAT WEEKEND"

AFTER BOOKING AT THE LAST MINUTE WE WERE TOTALLY DELIGHTED WITH OUR CHOICE. FROM THE MOMENT WE CHECKED IN UNTIL THE MOMENT WE CHECKED OUT THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. FOOD, ACCOMODATION AND LOCATION EXCELLENT. WE WOULD CERTAINLY USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

"Friendly, helpful staff excellent food "

We booked this hotel last minute, we arrived early and was told there were no standard rooms available and that £20 a night was needed to upgrade to a superior room this we did. Excellent breakfast and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a round of drinks from the bar when we arrived , and they were the most expensive drinks we had all weekend

I`ve stayed in wonderful hotels all over the world, and seldomly have I come across such amazing customer service. The rooms (whilst a little small) are each individual and sumptuously decorated. I can`t rate this hotel highly enough. Stay there, you`ll be glad you did!

"Excellent food and cleanliness. Staff exceptional."

We chose this hotel because it was not too far from the finish line of the London Marathon that we were taking part in. We could not have made a better choice. The hotel was tastefully decorated, clean, food was excellent and the Staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Next time we visit London for a more relaxing stay we will be staying here. A little bit pricey but worth it!

"Could hardly fault our stay"

Everything was clean and well appointed. Staff were polite and attentive without being overbearing. Only slight fault was breakfast took a long time to come and the order was slightly wrong when it did come, but we were not in a rush and it was corrected without fuss.

"Professionally dealing with a problem!"

we stayed at this lovely english hotel for one night. but we were given a wrong type of room and our discussion with the staff got nowhere , since we were late for the meeting that we had to attend we gave up in the end and stayed at the the room ( which was lovely but not a junior suite that we booked). On the first working day after our stay,I had a call on my mobile from the main manager . A lovely very polite gentelman who aplogised for the mistake and offered us a complementary stay in the junior suite.I can`t think of any better customer care. will be a regular customer !

"Great Hotel and well worth the stay..."

4 of us stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it lived up to its impeccable reviews. The rooms were charming and extremely functional with an amazing attention to detail. Good central location and extremely friendly staff, the best we have ever stayed in within London and we will certainly be back to stay again in the future, in general, a first class experience !!!

"We found everything about this hotel wonderful."

We didnt get chance to use the dining room for dinner due to our schedule but the breakfast was excellent. I was impressed by the attentive service we received from everyone to such a extent that we were quite stunned one night when the night receptionist didn`t smile at us, it was quite funny. My wife will now insist that every time we visit London the Chesterfield Mayfair will be our first option. Oh and finally I picked up a bug on the last day of our stay and our train home was at 19.30. This hotel without any fuss were quite happy for us to keep our room all afternoon. At a time of such doom and gloom the Cesterfield Mayfair is all sunshine. Give yourself a treat.
