"A high quality hotel in the centre of fashionable Knightsbridge"

A superb, high quality hotel with very pleasant, helpful and polite staff. We were based on the 4th floor with a view over Knightsbridge, we also used the NCP car xxxxx in the basement of the hotel for ease. The whole experience for my wife and I was excellent and we would not hesitate to visit both the hotel again and this area of London.

"Hotel rooms great!!"

Dining room service leaves a lot to be desired,plates cold ,food cool ,never any side plates on the table ,tea spoons missing,nothing served together ,toast arrives when you have finished breakfast ,all in all not enough staff , Disappointed .

Fantastic hotel, staff very helpful I could not rate them any higher breakfast was excellent. (should have been £26 per person) Location perfect straight on to Hyde xxxxx, 200 yards from Knightsbridge tube great to explore all London

The hotel was excellent and we would stay there again but the breakfast was the worst we have ever had and trying to get a drink from the bar after 11.30 we sat for 20 minutes waiting to be served then gave up and had room service instead

"Excellent Hotel in an Excellent Location"

Located in the heart of Knightsbridge, this Hotel offers good accommodation with an excellent restaurant `OneOOne`. The staff were very polite and helpful. We had a weekend stay in London and would definately return to this Hotel. We stayed on the 14th floor and the view over London was amazing. Harrodds, Harvey Nichols etc are right on your doorstep and in the evening you can walk into other 5* hotels for a drink in the cocktail bars. Overall an excellent weekend stay in London.

"Staff was particularly helpful and friendly."

We booked a triple room, the third bed was a camp bed which was a little disappointing for a 5 star hotel. The room was also not really big enough to accomodate the third `bed.` Breakfast was beautiful.

Hotel clean and room furnished with all required amenities. Receptionist on arrival rather stern. Staff at breakfast seemed disorganized at times. Otherwise what we expected of a 5 star hotel.

"excellent choice of hotel"

would certainly return to this hotel right near londons best shopping. The hotel was clean , wonderful bed, bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was superb.One downside though only small dont except the nuts when you order a drink from the bar as they will cost you £7 which we didnt realise and thought they were complimentary! Overall though a great hotel.

"Nice Hotel"

I found the Hotel to be very nice the decor was lovely, when we arrived at the Hotel we were advised that we had been upgraded from a Double Classic to the top floor, the room was great but instead of having a double room we now had two singles, there was a seperate door which lead into a big lounge unfortunately the door hadn`t been locked so as we entered I was shocked to find other people in there, the maid then came into our room to lock the door which took over 10 minutes as she found it quite difficult to do, apart from this everything was lovely.

Staff very helpful. Room very good but lighting a little poor in the main bedroom (505). Reception area and Piano Bar lacked atmosphere! Restaurant 101 dinner excellent 5* + Afternoon tea a little slow! Overall good.

"Lovely room, Staff very pleasant fantastic location."

We checked in at 3pm, our room was ready but the third bed was not in place, the receptionist asked us if we were going out to dinner as we were they would set up the bed while we out. 1am we return to no bed, but within 10 minutes the bed and linen arrived. Continental Breakfast was included so as the hot upgrade was £25.00 we had continental. The waiter asked us if we wanted hot we said no stick with what was in our package. It was lovely we were offered toast so had two rounds of brown toast.... when we came to check out £75 had been added to the bill for `cooked breakfast` We said no way and the recepionist removed the charge immediately. Great location, pleasant staff. Comfortable beds.

"We will stick to Hilton or Holiday Inn. Not a hotel for children."

Being used to Holiday Inns and the occasional Hilton as a family, we were dissappointed by little extra you get when paying significantly more. The room had no tea or coffee making facilities, there was an extra charge for a childrens breakfast, the iron when we got one was awful but the room, although small, was nice. We also had to ask for an extra bed although we had booked a room for three. Remember that every shop etc around the hotel is also significantly more expensive. Not a family hotel by any stretch of the imagination but very nice for couples. More 4*+ than 5 star.

Went with my two teenage daughters for a girlie shopping weekend. Location made it absolutely perfect for us with great view over Knightsbridge. one minute walk from Harvey Nichols.Family room easily accomodated a third bed and was no trouble for hotel staff. Continental buffet breakfast was excellent - we had been concerned after reading earlier reviews! Fabulous homemade pastries and great array of fruit, cheese and meats.

"Outstanding Hotel"

Overall outstanding hotel 2 minutes walk from Harrods and most major attractions, we stayed there on News Year Eve 2008, the hotel is very clean tidy and presentable, the room`s were extremely clean and tidy, the reception staff very helpful and knowledgeable, the only complaint we have was the breakfast staff, they were all far to overworked to pay attention to what was asked of them, (3 or 4 times we asked for butter and coffee and 3 or 4 times we were left waiting over 1/2 hour for both) apart from that well worth the time and money, would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing for a great stay and friendly staff.
