"Lovely hotel"

Lovely hotel with fabulous breakfast. We stayed in a superior queen room that was plenty big enough. The only down side was there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which I would have expected. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

"Comfortable and welcoming"

On arrival we were welcomed, upgraded and generally looked after.Our door would not open but a most pleasant young man was ther instantly to have it fixed. Room was comfortable rather than spacious,with everything one could need. Breakfast provided many options, all fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our short stay and will return when we need to be in London

"Great location."

Friendly 5* hotel in great location. Very helpful staff. Nice bar. Good breakfast. In-room tea/coffee making facilities would be good as don`t like having to pay room service prices for cup of tea/coffee.

"I expected bettet"

In all honesty, I don`t expect this hotel to take my comments seriously, after all, they have 5* stars! I would however question how much the hotel paid for such an acxxxxxde. I booked this hotel as a surprise weekend break, inclusive of a westend show. I`m no millionaire so I`ve not stayed in many swanky London hotels but I do have an expectation that unfortunately was.miles from reality. First impressions were astounding, being instructed to walk to a nearby cash machine to get money for the parking attendant! Seriously! The.hotel itself was clean although dated and a bit dull, staff however were very attentive and knowledgeable. Our room.... What can I say, I`ve stayed in nicer premier lodge`s. I complained, was given a slight more impressive room and a free bottle of wine. I will be more carefullof my hotel choice in future.

"overall very good but! "

The Queen bed was two beds stuck together so an uncomfortable gap in the middle the door to the adjoining room was thin and we could hear the guest next-door, no tea making facilities in the room. It sound like I am being very negative but the staff were very good the breakfast was excellent and the location perfect.

"Nice Hotel for short stay"

A nice hotel situated in the heart of Mayfair, so great for shopping in New Bond Street Etc. Only criticism would be the lack of Tea Making Facilities in the room & a cup of tea being cahrged @ £5.50 in the lounge

"Fab hotel great location all that we expected and more !"

We booked a superior queen room, it is well decorated , a decent size with a lovely comfy bed! Black out curtains were a lovely extra meaning a nice Lay in !! . Location can`t be beaten, literally steps from some of the best shopping in the world ! . Tea/coffee would have been nice in the room but it can be ordered from room service so not a major issue . overall a fantastic break to mark our anniversary , I would return again for sure.

Parts of the room looked dated and no tea coffee making facilities which meant buying them on room service at £6.25 each or just nip to macdonalds like we did

A very nice hotel but very expensive breakfast for I stance twenty six pounds each no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which is always included in the price when we have been to other hotels around the country so we had to go out to find breakfast and a cup of tea

The welcome at reception was not as friendly as I expected and they were not busy. I spoke to the concierge who also seemed like he didn`t wish to be there and didn`t break out a smile once. On checking out the whole experience was different, reception was very pleasant and warm, it was a shame I didn`t get this on arrival. All facilities are great the room we had was a little tired in the bathroom but comfortable. For a five star I would expect service to be good and above at all times. No major complaint just a little niggle.

Everything was sort or present but overall it lacked a real 5 star serf Oman CE . At the price however it was a bargain.Tea and coffee in the room without the intrusion of someone bringing (it at a cost ) would have been nice.

"Brilliant stay"

Staff exceptionally helpful & friendly, guest relations even provided us with a complementary birthday cake for my mam`s 60th birthday, then upgraded us from 2 superior queen rooms to 2 junior suits!! nothing was too much trouble, spotless with very comfy huge bed!!! Would highly recommend to anyone.

"great value for money that night."

Had a great price for a one night stay at the xxxxx, extremely helpful staff, very efficient and the room was excellent, only criticism was an irritatingly slow response tv but that is nitpicking. I would recommend this well located hotel.

"Five star hotel spoilt by very tired bathroom"

The hotel was excellent and up to par apart from the bathroom which was very, very tired - the mdf architrave at the bottom of the door and end of the bath was worn/broken/water damaged and needed replacing, and although clean we expected a shower screen instead of a shower curtain. The lip of the vanity unit had years of ingrained dirt in the crack. There was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. All things considered, we wouldn`t stay again - we stayed at the Cumberland the month before and for one star less, it was certainly better, in our opinion

"Only two important things in a hotel - clean and a good nights sleep - they failed on the sleep "

rowdy people at 3.30am in next room with an interconnecting door made sleep impossible - the hotel said sorry noting we can do, It makes the value of the xxxxx, Bond Street, Mayfair less than a 1 star hotel. Don`t go there.

"Fantastic Hotel ..Really helpful staff. ."

Had an overnight stay at this hotel. Regent Street with all the shopping is very close by so no need for taxis.Room was of a very high standard , the staff were exceptional. Mayfair is a very expensive area so to find a restaurant for an evening without breaking the bank is a bit of a challenge also pre book breakfast when booking its half price !!would definitely stay at this hotel again..
