"Fantastic experience"
Booked the xxxxx xxxxx hotel as a surprise for my partner could not have been more happy with the hotel the friendly helpful staff could not do enough for us giving us a fantastic room the breakfast was great can`t wait to go back fantastic experience would recommend

"Good location, but shame about the housekeeping!"
Our stay at the xxxxx was fine, good location and we were lucky to get a refurbished room. The only disappointment was being woken up Saturday morning by the housekeeper asking us when the room would be available for cleaning. When I explained not until 10.30am she could not understand me and asked me to write the time on a piece of paper. Unfortunately, when we returned to our room at 3pm that afternoon it had not been cleaned. We saw a housekeeper in the corridor, but when we asked about our room, she could not understand us. This was not a problem, but just annoying that we had been asked for a time! We have stayed at many hotels both in the UK and overseas and this is the first time we have ever been woken up to be asked about cleaning the room.

"Value for money in central London "
The hotel surpassed all expectations . My standard double room was spacious and newly refurbished to a high standard . Staff were friendly and professional . I would definitely stay again .

"Fantastic experience."
The hotel was as good as the description on the web, in fact for us the experience far exceeded our expectation, as we had an executive room with all the associated facilities,which were wonderful as it was a trip to celebrate our silver wedding on the day we arrived.The champagne was excellent!Thankyou HotelDirect you really did it!We will use you again.

"A good hotel in an excellent location."
Hotel staff were excellent. One of our rooms was not cleaned & we were given a recently refurbished room on the 8th floor. Breakfast was just ok. Not very warm. A small restaurant for the number of people needing to eat breakfast. I`m glad we were given the refurbished rooms as the other rooms are certainly in need of the same.

lovely room spacious rm150, definitely would book again.very busy as major weekend rememberance and London poppies but staff coped really well and we were treated as individuals nothing was too much trouble .

A beautiful modern hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and plenty big enough for two people. A lovely bathroom with a very large shower. Also plenty of places to choose from in which to eat. A very good breakfast to top it off! The staff were considerate and helpful.

Having read some of the reviews about this hotel, we were slightly apprehensive as to what it would be like. We needn`t have been! Although the hotel is extremely big, and dated from the outside, inside it is full of Art Deco charm and character. The staff were very helpful and our room was large, clean and tastefully decorated. I was particularly impressed with the Nespresso coffee maker! Breakfast was excellent, serving a wide variety of pastries, cereals, cheeses, fruit, yoghurts and hot food. We had a slight wait on the Sunday morning, but it was Remembrance weekend and so the hotel was extremely busy. In addition, the hotel is right off Oxford Street, so after a busy day of sight seeing and shopping we were soon. We would defini back in our room. I would definitely stay at the xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx again.

great location for stay in london,Hotel was good, although having reaqd earlier reveiws some room were described as tired and in need of attention. Not to spoil our weekend i requested refurbished room which was really nice. Would have liked a bath though. Definately stay there again though.

We will return to this hotel. Beautiful room. Comfortable beds. Excellent shower, very clean. Overall a very comfortable room. Very quiet. The only thing we noticed that after room service..no replacement flannels , dressing gowns, milk , all of which were there on first night. Not urgent but would have been perfect if these had been replaced. Very friendly helpful staff hotel staff ,excellent breakfast.,Location perfect.

Booked the hotel for a celebration, and it did not disappoint. The service was fantastic, the room was beautiful, breakfast choice good. One minor moan would be the view if you get an internal room is not great, but this is a top hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel (we went the same time last year). When we booked in (which was very early ) they placed us in an refurbished room the standard of this was fantastic. Look forward to next year.

On our arrival the customer service was excellent and a very warm friendly greeting was offered from all the staff. The bar staff later in the evening were very attentive and helpful. However disaster struck when my husband took a shower later in the evening as the water would not go away into the drain and came into our room ,immediately I rang for help and a member of staff was quick to respond and also a further member of staff came to assist.We were given another room to spend the night in. I was very impressed by the two members of staff who assisted .The breakfast was good.However I felt when I checked out there was a lack of interest in how my stay went,the young lady was not interested . In my business I travel and stay in various hotels ,many of which are in London and also recommend them to many people, Hopefully you will take my points into consideration and I look forward to your reply. Hotel: clean and tidy. Staff courteous and polite and very helpful. Room: 8th floor above Oxford Street- Very quiet. Were told recently refurbished- it looked it. Pity switches at the door weren`t level! Breakfast( included in our stay)- varied, plentiful. Set us well up for the day. Would stay here again.

Don`t be put off by the exterior of the building. This is a lovely hotel, with good decor and good size and well equipped bedrooms. Very comfortable beds. The staff are helpful and friendly. I would certainly stay here again. Close by to St Chistopher`s Place where there are a choice of restaurants.
