A nice hotel, great location for theatreland and the staff were pleasant. Room (double delux) quite small, mattress very firm (too firm for us but may be great for others), a fancy control panel for lights but ours didn`t work correctly so had to turn off lights by removing keycard, which we thought would be okay until we needed the loo in the middle of the night! Window had frosted glass, so no view which didn`t bother us as only staying for one night but we wouldn`t have liked it for a longer stay. Room very clean, ample good quality toiletries.

Whilst the overall standard of the hotel was very good our room was small and had no natural light. Our window was frosted and I could not tell if it was day or night! If i had paid the full price I would have been extremely disappointed and complained to the hotel.

Hotel room although supposedly upgraded to an executive double was like an interior cabin on a crews ship. I really didn`t see the point of having a window there at all. Food was ok if not a little over priced.

"Comfort and sophistication at an affordable price"
The Staff Members were very helpful and most professional and friendly. We had an inside room which was dark - but it was well equipped and sound and lighting as well as climate control were excellent. Pity about the lack of a spa and parking is not convenient. But well located.

The hotel staff were really helpful and generous the whole time. Everything was immaculate in the room. The location was really close to everything - 5 mins to Piccadilly Circus, and 2min walk (or less) from Embankment tube station. Right on the Thames!

"The most wonderful hotel ever!"
What more can I say. We stayed in a executive double room for 1 night. It was fantastic! The room was clean, the bed and bedding so comfortable, everything we would need and more. The view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it.The staff were always smiling and very kind and helpful. Wish we had stayed longer! We will be returning.

Everything about this hotel was excellent except that the bathroom was small with barely any legroom between the toilet and bath & the shower wasn`t great in my opinion. Probably a bit overpriced but a nice hotel all in all.

"loved the breakfast experience, it was superb"
we were sadly given a dark and miserable inside room with no natural light. although the actual room was very nice with a big warm bathroom.. because of this we didn`t feel part of the amazing hotel. the treatment we were given at breakfast did send us away with a happy feeling though and we read our Sunday papers in the lovely lounge because we didn`t want to go back to our room.

"Great hotel, albeit no parking."
The reason I had chosen to pick a hotel so close to the theatre was because I was on crutches so I didn`t have to walk too far. So I was somewhat dismayed to find that I had to park just under half a mile away to the car park! Also, that it was £36. This should have been clearer in the booking. I was in a great deal of pain upon getting to the hotel. The hotel itself was a lovely hotel, really friendly staff. I did raise my concerns to the reception staff. I was quite upset by the time I had got to the hotel, which dampened my mood for some of the afternoon, which was meant to be enjoyable. The breakfast was lovely, the room, clean and a good view of the thames.

This hotel was fantastic. 2 minutes walk from Embankment tube, helpful staff and spotless rooms. All the 5 star touches you`d hope for. They even gave me an umbrella because it was drizzly. An amazing hotel for the price. I`d definitely stay here again.

Although the xxxxx xxxxx Hotel is an old hotel with lots of history, it has just been refurbished so the rooms have all the modern emenities and are spotlessly clean. Our room had a view over the Thames and the London Eye and was only a short walk from the Theatre.

"A very pleasant stay"
We stayed for one night on a business trip.Although we did not have a room with a view, it was a very clean and well appointed space fitted to a high standard. Sound insulation was excellent too.All staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. Difficult to fault except the difficulties you may encounter if you have a car with you. There is precious little on street parking anywhere near, but two car parks within half a mile.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Every single member of staff greeted me warmly and friendly. The rooms are that exquisit, they even have TV`s in the shower and heated floors! Room service sold 24/7, with high quality food and drink. Fantastic area, 2 minute walk from main tube station! The views from hotel are pure perfection - London eye and the river thames! Couldn`t ask for anything better! Thankyou HotelDirect for an amazing weekend! Will totally be back! - Charlie King (University Student)

My husband and myself have just come back from a 2 nights stay in this hotel, and have to say it was the best hotel we have stayed in in London, we visit regularly, and have tried different hotels, and this is by far the very best. The staff are superb, and nothing is too much trouble, the rooms have everything you could ever want, and althougj we did,nt get a room with a view of the thames, it was still beautiful and spotless and we will most definatley be staying there again.

Everybody was smiling, always ready to help us. Rooms are irreprochable, clean, modern and done in time. From reception people to restaurant, concierge to porters all excellent. I want to return to London regularly but please let me know how I can get this hotel at the same price. Merci Andre Auger

Very close to the London Eye ( just a 10 minute walk ) , Covent Garden , Trafalgar & Leicester Square . Will be sure to return again soon !
