"Lovely hotel"

Hotel was lovely and warm. Central heating very efficient. Good supply of hot water. However the room was a bit small and access for. One side of the bed was limited.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. Location quiet which is something you can rarely say for a London hotel.

"Nice Hotel"

Friendly staff, lovely clean hotel, comfy bed. Had trouble finding it, no sign outside so not aware of hotel until standing outside. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel however rooms are rather hot and not the one pillow my partner and I had each were rather thin which made it an uncomfortable night.

Nice clean hotel. Excellent helpful staff. Loud guests promptly sorted by staff. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

"Good value, friendly hotel"

I stayed mid February when the price for a single room was little more that that of a hostel (which wouldn`t have been ensuite) so was very good value. Only 5 mins. walk from West Kensington tube. Staff friendly, room was clean and decor was in good nick - wasn`t shabby. Bathroom was very clean and modern. Bed on the hard side but that suits me fine. All in all very good value for (fairly) central London hotel. I`d use it again quite happily

A friendly and warm, budget hotel, convenient for Olympia, and Royal Albert Hall, and Tube stations. Lovely and quiet.

"perfect for me"

i found the hotel very suitable to my needs. very clean and the single room was perfect for my short stay.the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful.i will definitely stay there agai when I next visit the area.

"Excellent "

Excellent, lovely staff and spotless room. I`d had a single room , small , compact but with everything you`d need . Room 9 , quiet, warm , comfy bed and certainly as clean as ant 5* hotel I`ve ever stayed in . I`m an always a very critical guest but on this occasion I`ve absolutely no critical comment to make about the hotel .

Just what we needed. The triple room was a tad on the small side but for what we paid including theatre tickets for dress circle show of Thriller we couldn`t have asked for anything more. Clean, warm, nice bathroom, only a stones throw away from a tube station and a nice little bar famous 3 kings when we hadn`t wanted to go far on our second night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, very impressed with the package, we are already planning our next event one. :)

"Poor knowledge from staff"

Okay so I get that it`s a budget hotel but I would still expect certain standards. Firstly I had to ask for another room because the room we were given originally reeked of smoke. The window was wide open in the room so the hotel obviously knew it stunk so why try and get away with it? The hotel has a no smoking policy and the smell of that room was not of somebody having a crafty fag out the window, it was strong overpowering so how or why they deemed it acceptable for the next occupiers is beyond meAnyway next, the staff at the hotel were quite inept and didn`t seem to know what was going on - in fact they cost me £65 in a parking fine from giving me poor advice and not really knowing how the parking around the hotel worked. The lady on the Sunday morning didn`t have a clue what to say when I told her I`d been fined and had no customer service skills to deal either the issue. She simply gave me an email addresss for the manager. The manager is yet to reply to my email.

"The a bit small "

This is nice but the rooms are a bit small not enough room to swing a cat and there isn`t no food served on the premises which is a shame apart fm this it`s still nice hotel to stay in

"Good as a base"

This hotel is easy enough to get to and there is a lovely cafe called Cafe Continental nearby for breakfast. it is fine as base if you are out and about all day but it is basic.

"Family Room?!!!!!!"

The room we were put in was horrendous! We booked a family break and arrived to find a room that was bunkbeds and a single, the bunk bed was that high it was unaccessible for the adults and frankly dangerous for a child!! The guard rail was 4" above the mattress!!! When we booked a family room this is totally unacceptable!! The bathroom was the size of a phone box, with the toilet literally joined to the shower, it was an absolute joke, we will not be booking with this company again!!!

"Good value for money"

Nice clean hotel in great location. Easy to find. Very close to the tube station and a nice restaurant cafe. Next to the tube station was a nice pub. Although the hotel is near these amenities, it is also situated on a very quiet road. We will use it again.

Clean and comfortable in a quiet street close to good transport links we really enjoyed our stay. The evening concierge was excellent and nothong was too much trouble. Thank you.

"2 night stay at kensington west hotel"

hotel was as expected, small room yet lovely and clean and staff very polite. I did request a hotel as near to royal marsden hospital as my husband was having a major operation. I believe there could have been somewhere nearer as I spent a fortune on cab fares.

The room was very basic, with just enough room to squeeze past the bed. This is not a place to go if you want to `live` in the room, however it was clean and the staff were pleasant, so if all you`re looking for is somewhere to lay your head, then it is fine.

Our stay was in a twin room, each bed only had one pillow (most places keep spares in the wardrobe). There was no hand towl in the bathroom so had to use the bath towls.

"Not one I would use again"

The room was small and the shower/bathroom even smaller. It was very hot in London and the room didn`t have any adjustable air conditioning. I was also very unhappy that they took a copy of my driving licence when they asked for photo ID. I would like to know that it was destroyed after my visit as there`s so much identity theft going on.

The hotel was very clean and friendly. Bue to the fact that we stayed during a heat wave it was extremely uncomfortable due to the fact there is no air conditioning. The fan we were given was helpful. I would recommend the hotel but advise guests to take their own tea and coffee as the hotels offering was unpleasant.
