"Ideal Central London Hotel"

Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel very clean, beds comfortable and at breakfast the food was good. Although our twin room was small it was ideal for an overnight stay. The only problem was that the shower was not very good, most probably just needed de scaling. But would definitely stay there again

"Very good connection to underground railway system ( Circle line ) - to all major attractions. "

Overall the Hotel was very good - its service / staff were excellent. The only thing wrong was the top 5th floor bedroom was to warm even with the air fan fully on and the weather cold/damp outside - would suggest air conditioning.

"Change of hotel"

We had a minor setback when we checked in at our hotel (quality crown at Hyde Park). Having received a confirmation two days prior to arrival (which I thought was excellent) my party of 6 arrived t the hotel and completes registration forms, only to be told that they could accommodate us due to "maintenance". I have mo issue with the manner this was dealt with. We were given complimentary drinks then taxi`d across to our new hotel Mercure Hotel Lexham Gardens. This hotel was lovely and we has an excellent stay. My only criticism is that it would have been better if we`d been alerted to this earlier. We actually lost about an hour of our weekend and we probably would not have chosen a hotel in this area but, as I said previously, the Mercure was excellent - clean, good facilities and pleasant, very helpful staff

HOTEL IS CLEAN FRIENDLY AND CLOSE TO UNDERGROUND. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. WE HAD TWIN ROOM WHICH WAS FAIRLY SMALL BUT HAD EVERYTHING YOU WOULD NEED. WOULD RECOMMEND AND USE AGAIN.

"Great Hotel"

We were moved to their sister hotel, Hotel INDIGO, Staff could not be more helpful, just everything was Fab, had a lovely stay and would go back again, staff very friendly, hotel beautiful, would recommend this hotel.

"lost booking, porter in bedroom."

The hotel had no record of my booking when i arrived and asked ME to email it to them , which i immediately did. When i arrived back hours later they hadnt bothered to look for it and i was subjected to furthur delay. Porter got me a cab to go out. I forgot phone, went back to my room to find him in there with tv on and his pants down..... need i say more?

"Immaculate room, professional staff, good location, great breakfast, very good deal"

All in all a very comfortable overnight stay. Two small things though:- bedroom window wouldnt stay open so had to be wedged. Also, breakfast was good but not as much choice as would have liked ie no porridge.

"Poor quality for £120per night"

Marathon weekend, cramped room, no fresh air in the room as window bolted shut.Fan to get air from outside room was noisy and difficult to sleep through. Window looked into another corridor so your room could be looked into by other guests. 120 pounds per night and no breakfast included. Not a great hotel would not recommend it, poor quality for the money. Neither quality or comfortable could be said to be correct.

"Very comfortable, close to the tube and lovely, friendly, staff."

Well positioned with restaraunts and bars close by. Lancaster gate tube nearby and the close proximity of Hyde park make this a brilliant location to explore London. The Hotel is well kept with a bar but most important, the staff were brilliant ; very friendly, helpful and hard working.

"Disappointing and unhelpful service"

Had booked a triple room 2 months in advance and was told on arrival that there were no triples available. Given two small rooms, the larger of the two did not have a working tv or working radio, a juniopr member of staff came and fiddled with the wires but then said nothing could be done. The woman on front desk was unhelpful and unsympathic to the point that it bordered on rude. She said there was nothing they could do once and then just turned away and ingored me. I would not stay at this hotel again

Basically we arrived at the hotel and were greated very warmly by Sheena on reception and she was very helpful even when we asked for a bigger room,which i have to say was very clean and tidy..Praise must also be given to the rest of the staff,Would i stay there again? yes i would.

"Great location"

Very close to Paddington but very quiet.Accomodation good.Breakfast ok but maybe need to use more teabags.Would return for the excellent service and location.

"Convenient central London hotel"

Our room was clean, spacious and well appointed. Buffet style breakfast was well stocked, but we were disappointed that only scrambled eggs were on offer.
