"Very good for the price"

Took the `mystery hotel` option near xxxxx xxxxx. Got the xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx. Very nice hotel, friendly staff, very clean, excellent breakfast included. Rooms are tiny though, but ok for 1 or 2 nights. Very clean and modern, tea and coffee, hairdryer, iron and board, TV, just very small. Location near Lancaster Gate tube but it`s closed until July 2017, Paddington tube is only 0.4 miles away and there are 3 buses that go to Oxford Street from outside the hotel so not a problem really but something to be aware of. For the price we paid for great seats and the hotel it was a bargain, would definitely use it again.

"Good value, comfortable stay"

Standard room very small but it has everything needed for a night`s stay and the bed is comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient.

"Clean and mostly friendly "

Hotel , nice enough , rooms small , but bed comfy and rooms clean .We didn`t visit London to stay in the room so size of the room didn`t matter ,breakfast brill. Only let down nearest tube station closed ,so it was a five pound taxi ride to next station or 10min. walk .

"This weekend"

Great location with a lovely view of Kensington Gardens from our room and exceptionally efficient and friendly staff, Antonina on reception and Dana in the restaurant are worth a special mention.. Super meal on Friday night and an easy room swap when our first one was very cold and appeared to lack any heating despite turning on full The room we were moved to was very cold when we opened the door but the heating was far more efficient and heated it to a comfortable level in about 25mins however the bathroom had no way of getting warm. No towel rails or vent into the bathroom meant it never warmed up and our towels stayed damp. Unfortunately the water wasn`t very hot either, we gave up with the shower as it was very fine, slow jets of water and tried to have a bath but just didn`t get hot enough to be pleasent. Such a shame as we couldn`t fault any other part of our weekend with you.

"Impractical bathroom"

Nice hotel but small bedroom and tiny wet room. Everything always wet needed extra towels really to mop up every time! Had to put shoes on to use the wc. Nicely decorated.

"Average "

We were moved twice the rooms are a lot smaller than the picture on the website, They are renervating some rooms wich is definitely needed. The lady @ customer care was more than helpful and tried her best to accommodate our needs. But on the last morning I experienced a cold shower which was awful. Value for money not really.

Lovely hotel, very nice feel when you walked into this hotel, were made to feel very welcome, all staff were very helpful. Lovely clean room, and great location opposite xxxxx xxxxx, would highly recommend it.

"Great Hotel"

We enjoyed a one night stay at the xxxxx Hotel at xxxxx xxxxx. Staff were helpful, the room was comfortable and very clean. The cooked breakfast was high quality and service very good too. Overall, this was a very good deal and I would recommend this hotel to other customers.

"Exceptional Customer Service"

Room not quite ready on arrival so we were offered an upgrade immediately as we were only staying one night. Close to usual tourist spots i.e. 20 minute walk to Royal Albert Hall.

"Great Hotel"

Location is very near Lancaster Gate Tube station and good bus service just round the corner. Beautiful clean hotel, lovely bedroom, excellent breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, especially the concierge.. Would go back to this hotel and can recommend it.

Very warm welcome, gorgeous room, very confortable, the breakfast was awesome, a great variety and catered for all needs. All staff were very nice and welcoming, made our stay all that more special.

"Fantastic location, extremely helpful staff!"

What a find! Literally 3 minutes walk from Lancaster Gate tube station, right opposite xxxxx xxxxx. Room was perfect, very comfortable and clean, we slept like babies! Excellent breakfast with so much choice it was eye boggling, we were super impressed with all the staff who were courteous, polite and so helpful without exception, will definitely be returning and recommending this gem of a hotel!

"Adequate"

Friendly, clean, impressive entrance, outstanding breakfast. The room was very clean but basic. Shower was poor. Requires a total make over. Shower gel, shampoo and soap supplied. The room was adequate as we only slept in it and the bed was very comfortable.

"Hotel Chorus, conveniently placed ,near xxxxx xxxxx and shops"

Very small room, like a shoe box for two people and double bed pushed against the wall,making it very difficult for someone of our ages to get in and out of especially in the middle of the night.The room was very cold and we had to ring reception twice to have it sorted out.We also found the shower extremely dangerous to get in and out of, due to the height of the bath side.The room was clean ,with good amenities,

"Not quite what we expected"

Description stated overlooking xxxxx xxxxx, our room was downstairs and we had a view of what appeared to be a bin store. The room was basic and not even Travelodge standard . On the tea tray one would have expected at least a custard cream . There was no shower crime in the bathroom apart from the small plastic ones and two small soaps. The hairdryer hanging from a simple cup hook. Breakfast plentiful and you can have full English or curry and rice as the foreign contingency is catered for. Have stayed in far better 4 star hotels than this. Staff friendly enough, however I would not personally recommend this one.

"Poor facilities"

Room was newly refurbished but very small for 2 adults. Wet room was poorly designed and water did not drain properly, leading to standing water around sink and toilet. Of 3 lifts, one was unserviceable and other was in permanant use by staff changing bedding, very time consuming trying to go between floors with 1 lift serving all guests. Staff courteous but overwhelmed at breakfast time. Breakfast was excellent.

The reception and concierge staff were very good and the public areas of the hotel very attractive. We upgraded from a standard double to an executive double on the strength of reviews which said the rooms were small. The room was not executive and in particular the bathroom was small, very tired and a little dirty. The breakfasts were good but the food was too cold, the heaters in the tureens inadequate. The conservatory dining area is tired and grubby. Some investment needed.

"Lovely Hotel"

Got a great deal for the xxxxx hotel xxxxx xxxxx and was not disappointed. Room had everything needed, was clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were very helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. Could not complain about a thing!

Rooms on the small size, but then What do you do in them but sleep? Bed comfy, room was a bit stuffy but soon sorted after turning the heating down low. Nice breakfast, hot, which is a good thing as it doesn`t happen a lot in some hotels. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location being a stones throw from Lancaster Gate tube station, 2 or 3 stops from Oxford street.

"Central stay for show and winter wonderland "

Great central location, staff extremely helpful, breakfast scrummy. Would definitely recommend upgrading to executive room if you can, would definitely stay again

"Satisfaction Eventually"

The hotel is generally good value, but the rooms do vary considerably. The hotel rooms are gradually being renovated, so if you find yourself in one of the older rooms that is need of a bit of TLC I suggest a call to reception to request a change. I must add that the breakfast is of a good quality. The hotel is also in a good location, next to xxxxx xxxxx and the Central Line Underground (Lancaster Gate). The hotel is also in walking distance (10 Min) from Paddington Station.
