Hotel and location:
The Albany House has an ideal location in the heart of leafy Bloomsbury, close to Russell Square, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the British Museum which are all within a 15 minute walk. A 20 minute stroll will take you to the hundreds of shops on Oxford street and to the world-famous Covent Garden, where you can enjoy the theatres, arty stalls, lively cafés and exquisite restaurants. The Brunswick Centre can be found a 5 minute walk away, this is a decent-size open-air shopping mall with lots of restaurants and everyday amenities, it is so beautifully landscaped that you might in fact just want to sit there and watch the world go by. Whereas a 10 minute walk will take you to Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras stations and the Kings Cross and St Pancras Shopping Mall and also to the British Library where every book that has ever been printed in the UK is preserved for posterity. Getting there:
BY TUBE: From Kings Cross Station, exit station onto Euston Road West. Walk 200 yards westward and opposite the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel on other side of the road is Judd Street. Turn down Judd Street and walk 500 yards and Albany House is on your right.
Check-in Information: Government-issued photo identification and a credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges. Please advise the Altitude Apartments of your estimated time of arrival in London as well as at the apartment for the key collection. Please call on +44 (0)79 508 80146 prior to arrival. Where they have arranged to meet you at the apartment, should they not have heard from you, or been able to contact you one hour after you were due to arrive, they will leave the apartment and await your call. This may then delay them being able to get back to the apartment to give you the keys.
Should you be arriving at the apartment after 8pm or before 9am you must let them know at least 24 hours in advance. An out-of-hours check-in fee will be applied if your time of arrival is after 8pm or before 9am, £50 before and £100 after 11pm.
