The 14 rooms at the Fairbank Hotel are all named after local areas and attractions and all feature flatscreen TV with Freeview channels, complimentary Wi-Fi , hairdryer, toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Most of the rooms have sea views and those that don`t have views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. Situated in the small village of Crantock just a 10 minute drive from Newquay the Fairbank Hotel offers friendly accommodation in a great location. Crantock Beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel through flower filled fields and sand dunes and features golden sands and safe swimming. The resort town of Newquay with its sandy beaches, Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium can be easily reached by car. Also within a 10 minute drive is the beach and Fun Park at Hollywell Bay, which offers a range of activities including Karting, a soft play area and an 18 hole pitch and putt golf course with stunning views. The many shopping and entertainment opportunities of Truro can be reached within a 25 minute drive of the Fairbank Hotel.Please Note:The Hotel is closed from the 9th of November 2014 and reopens on the 20th of March 2015.
Getting there:
BY TRAIN: the nearest station is Newquay which is a 10 minute taxi ride from the hotel, if guests require a taxi the hotel will be able to pre book it if the guest contacts reception to arrange it. Alternatively the number 587 bus travels from Newquay Station to Crantock village and the journey time is approximately 15 minutes, the bus stops at Winstowe Terrace, from here follow West Pentire Road for 5 minutes and the hotel will be ahead on the right.
BY CAR: Follow the A30 from Exeter towards Bodmin/Redruth, exit the A30 following signs for the A392 signposted for Newquay/Quintrell Downs. Keep following the A392 towards Newquay for 7 miles, at the junction with the A3075 take the first exit towards A3075/Redruth. After approximately 500 metres turn right onto unclassified road signposted for Crantock, follow this road to the end and turn right at the T-junction following signs for Crantock and West Pentire. Follow the road through Crantock Village and the hotel will be on the right hand side as you exit the village. The unclassified road features some very sharp bends and can be very narrow so caution is advised.
