Guest rating:  | 22/8/2010 | | "OVERBOOKED" | | | | Booked this hotel 2 months in advance for my hubby and friend coming back from a boys weekend and the hotel had overbooked itself. Sloppy and not funny at 1 in the morning when you just want your bed and no hassle.

Similarly, the bathroom facilities are small. Okay if one is paying £50 but at £116, without breakfast, this was an absolute rip-off. My colleague felt the same. Never again at that price.

My room was smaller than a cruise ship room. I woke up the first morning to find a COCKROACH in my bathroom! I killed it, quietly told the front desk person (so other customers couldn`t hear), and she didn`t react at all. That is inexcusable. My room was then changed for the second night. When I turned on the A/C (it was a very hot June night), and the air coming out smelled worse than a toilet, not sure what the heck was going on there. Overall, I would rate the hotel a 2 or 3 out of 10.

Putting a double bed in, was very unrealistic fro a comfortable stay. There was some noise from the lift, fire doors and passing traffic. A very friendly welcome from the reception staff.

We asked reception to call us a taxi when we were leaving which cost us £19 for a journey to Euston station, this was in a private car not a licenced cab as we used on arrival that cost £11.40. Beware!!
