"Good location once you work out the best route from the tube."
Pleasant hotel with nice rooms and adequate bathrooms. power showers are great . Continental breakfast was adequate but not inspirational ! Didn`t use the pool as the lift was constantly full of children, accompanied and unaccompanied with dripping wet armbands... Not quite the haven of tranquility that was advertised and I was unfortunately not able to swim at child free times. The directions to the hotel were adequate but it would have been more helpful to say that if you travel from Kings cross station there is a direct bus service (catch the No 63) outside the front entrance of the station that stops at Gwynne Place - opposite the hotel entrance - Brilliant !!
Hi we stayed here for one night with our two sons and really enjoyed our stay! The staff are amazing especially the manager in the health and fitness snd also Eddie in the bar entertained our children with magic tricks all evening! We couldn`t of asked for more everyone went over and above our expectations and we will definitely be recommending the Holiday Inn and be coming back again.
"You get what you pay for"
Didn`t use any of the facilities in the hotel so can`t comment on them but our hotel room was quite run down and dirty in places. 2.50 for a small bottle of water!!! I suppose that`s London prices for you. Other than that stay was fine.
Lovely hotel , great location. Staff excellent, had a lovely 2 day break at this hotel
"Great hotel - not ideal location."
Fabulous staff, clean, well maintained rooms. Right hotel, wrong location!
"Poor choice of continental breakfast. Only two choices of cheese and meats. No boiled eggs. "
Complimentary drinks in rooms was some what sparse. not a lot of coffee and no hot chocolate or biscuits. Did not replace the toiletries. Everything else was good. Helpful staff.
To far from centre and any tube station
Most of the staff were friendly. Continental breakfast poor, English breakfast ok but was not taken to our table, we were pointed in right direction and was told that`s your table. When I asked for a teapot to make a cup of tea three members of staff didn`t know what I was on about or what a teapot was. Receptionists helpful and friendly and so was concierge.
Comfortable hotel. Staff friendly & helpful. A bit of a trek from Kings Cross Station.
"Beds where very uncomfortable old mattress we were rolling into the centre all night and waking up"
All staff were polite and helpful hotel was clean and tidy although bathrooms let it down. Breakfast was good as was swimming facilities. Information on buses would have been helpful. Beds really We`re very uncomfortable which was a shame as the hotel was good
