"Great family stay."
Very clean, friendly staff, we would definitely return.
"Good venue slightly out from centre"
Good clean hotel. About £10 in a taxi from centre. Shame you have to pay for swimming not cheap either! Generally a good place to stay rooms clean.
"comfortable, enjoyed leisure facilities."
Children are older and would have benefitted from a double bed, rather than a sofa bed, which was a little small and springy.
"The service is really good"
The only possible issue I`ve seen is that it is not close to any metro station
The hotel I found wasn`t in the best location, not very near to tube station(s). Cleanliness was just average, expected better. Bathrooms weren`t very clean and the first nights stay was awful as had very noisy guests in the next room which was made worse by the adjoining door in the room as I had kids in the room this wasn`t the best scenario. Made a complaint and receptionist did switch rooms for me the next day.
"Welcoming reception. Good food for breakfast and a helpful concierge."
See above. I was annoyed that my priority club popints were not added as I did not book directly.
very clean hotel, really comfy beds, and very helpful staff. Parking was a nice touch, and the food was a very good standard. A little away from the heart of things, but the tube and the bus tours were great, and easily accessible from Kings Cross, a short stroll away. Very handy for covent garden, and some of the theatres. We were on a budget, but this hotel hit all the right buttons. I also incorrectly booked a shorter stay than was required, but a quick phone call to the very helpful chap at Hotel Direct, and it was very quickly and very easily sorted....Thanks very much, a great weekend...Steve
We had a bargain break and the hotel and room was fab. Bed comfy, Room warm. We did not have any meals at the hotel but they smelt and looked worth the money (were on diets so did not want the temptation) It was in a good spot for visiting London. For people who cannot walk that far the tube is a few minutes walk away and not right out side on the door step. We love walking and found this more of a plus than anything. We would certainly visit again. We only go to hotels that in betwwen their prices do bargain prices so we found this an added bonus..
"friendly helpful service"
it was a bit odd having to pull out the sofa bed to make the twin room into 2 beds; and i had to phone for help to do this. i think this should be done automatically by the hotel. otherwise my son and I had a very nice stay and enjoyed the leisure facilities a lot the dining and breakfast staff were very helpful as my son is coeliac and requires a gluten free diet; the waitress for dinner provided my son with gluten free bread without me asking once she learnt he was `gluten free` (I had not thought to ask). thank you.
