"Small rooms but in good location"
The rooms have very old windows which didn`t shut properly and were definitely not double glazed which meant we could hear a lot of traffic during the night.
"Nice room, but not much sleep had. "
In room B03. Nice room, but next to very noisy equipment sounding like boiler. May have well been in our room. On and off constantly for a few hours, Mostly likely from 6am when the cleaners started. Also general background noise of ventilation I`m assuming. Opening window also went into more noisy vents so that wasn`t a good option either. Generally a warm room so this was annoying. Also it sounded like our room door was opening when I assume the hallway door adjacent to our room opened. This was quiet scary a few times in the night. Very thin walls. Didn`t have a good sleep at all. Shame.
"Hotel was welcoming clean and superbly located within walking distance of many sights."
"Royal Eagle Hotel, Paddington."
Nice hotel. Hope to stay here again. Thanks.
Reception staff very helpful and a good place for Paddington arrivals.Stayed here before last year and had a good sized room with fair sized bathroom,so booked again, this time the room not as good as last time felt very small, and the bathroom seemed very cramped. Good job we were only here for 2 nights, and not bring a week`s worth of clothes, as only one single wardrobe and 1 little drawer to put clothes in for the two of us. Would stay again if on my own.
"Room very very small "
Well located, staff pleasant, room small, but probably to be anticipated. Only downside, I found my internet access very slow.
"Nice comfortable but had problems"
The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and neat and conveniently close to Paddington station. We`re planning another visit in the spring.
