Getting there:BY CAR: Heading east on M4 continue onto Great West Rd/A4 and at Hogarth Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Great West Rd/Chiswick/A4. After 4.5 miles continue onto Knightsbridge, this becomes Piccadilly after 0.2 miles. Piccadilly turns slightly right and becomes Dule of Wellington Pl. Turn left onto Constitution Hill and after 0.4 miles turn left onto The Mall. After 0.6 miles at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Trafalgar Square/A4/A400. After 0.1 miles turn right onto Duncannon St/A4 and the hotel will be on the left.

BY TUBE: From Charing Cross (Northern Line and Bakerloo). Exit Charing Cross tube or mainline station exit on to Strand South.  Turn right.  The hotel is approx 4 mins walk on opposite side of the road.

"Stunning hotel, very basic room"
I chose The Strand Palace expecting a little bit of luxury and a nice room. The room was basic at best. Very uncomfortable bed, blocked sink that won`t drain and a shower with a fine mist of water.
Very disappointed as the rest of the hotel appeared to be very nice. The only bonus was the distance from the theatre was a five min walk

"Strand palace hotel"
The location of the hotel was great. Short distance to Covent Garden and lots of other attractions, Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square all in walking distance. The hotel had lots of friendly helpful staff who were very accommodating but the restaurant was very busy at breakfast time with queues for breakfast and the bedroom was a little on the small side with only one chair but other than that the facilities were good.

Our room was a little smaller than it looked on photos but it was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. Only one armchair in room tho and one of us had to sit on the bed . Hotel itself in prime position for all attractions/ theatres etc . The staff kind, helpful , efficient and curteous . Breakfasts exceptional. Thank you for a lovely stay . Will recommend  quite a stunning hotel

"Lovely staff but missing some little touches."
This is a really well located hotel for a theatre back as it just minutes tea from the Vaudeville and Adelphi theatres. I took my husband for his birthday and after emailing the hotel to mention this, they kindly left him a card, balloon and treats in the room, which was very kind. The check in lady, Carmen, was also very nice. However, there were no standard toiletries in our room such as shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, lotion or shower cap and as I`m no good at communicating in person I didn`t want to ask for any. The room was a bit too hot and small for a double room, even if it was billed as cosy. Although, kind of expected in the middle of London.
