Interesting that the tap water supply to the basin seemed to be opposite the (almost) international standard of left tap is hot and right is cold.  Excellent bacon for breakfast.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The shared bathroom facilities were modern and kept clean. Breakfast was plentiful. My only criticism is that my bedroom faced on to the main road so traffic was quite noisy at night.

"had to fix t.v.aerial myself to get a station."
Parking is not good as its off main road. Bathroom sharing not ideal. sore neck trying to watch t.v. as you  have to turn side on. Room 3 sink waste badly needs cleaned as its full of hairs.  staff nice and dining room clean but small. Overall  its expensive for what you get.

"Everything going for it!"
A well-run establishment.  Very comfortable.  Very clean.  Friendly staff and good food.  I would recommend the Ben Doran to anyone.  Easy, quick, access to City entre by bus saves the hassle of driving and parking in city centre.

"Very pleasant and welcome owners"
Greeted with a welcome smile. Rooms clean and tidy.Breakfast very good and plenty. Anything asked for was answered or got.Nice walk to city centre or a short bus ride. Would definitely go back.

"Clean and elegant accommodation with a tasty breakfast"
Really clean and comfortable with a dash of old world charm 
Breakfast was very good as was the service only one negative and that was we could hear the traffic noise a little. 
But overall great value and I would definitely recommend
