"Great service and fantastic location"

Check in at xxxxx was the best check in experience I have ever had. The general politeness and welcoming was outstanding. SKY lounge is an experience but extremely expensive. Rooms are well equipped with Apple imac in every room. Great customer service really made my holiday here

Brilliant hotel service was so good,meet and greet hot cookies all added to the delight of the stay.Breakfast was well presented and very tasty,with everything that was asked for.Superb views of the the outstanding buildings around. Room very clean and good views of the gherkin my next stay would be the view of the xxxxx of London,!!!!! Will make sure I return especially with the deal with the theatre tickets.It was my Mums birthday treat and at 82 she had a great time and as she said the hotel was very high on her list as she is a very travelled lady. I would like to thank the staff for all their looking after us and their constant high standard within the hotel.

Just one point to make the theatre as described in your booking was not 8 minutes from theatre it was 15 minutes by taxi reason for taxi as underground out of order

The first room we were given was very small and overlooked the inside of the hotel. The second room was larger but smelt of smoke. The third room was a nice size with a view outside. The breakfast room service was very good and all the staff are polite and helpful. The sky lounge bar is impressive with extensive views of surrounding area.I would recommend this hotel.

s was great i even got an upgrade when i said it was my birthday(21 again:) The room was very clean as was all the hotel.Would have liked a better veiw but it was quite so was able to sleep.The free wi-fi kept my teenager happy as did the exceptional choice at breakfastThe only tiny problem i had was the pillows felt hard and lumpy so didn`t have the best quality sleep.In other 4*hotels have had a choice of softness in pillow also was a long way from show( would have liked a hotel much nearer}.

Would recommend to anyone. 20 mins west end, 5 mins xxxxx of London and riverr tours. Location, rooms, staff and food 5 star.

"Amazing Hotel! Our second stay here and we still love it. The Sky Lounge is beautiful!!"

The staff and hotel were good. The only thing that was a little dissapointing was that one of our rooms was not ready when we checked in at 4. We had to wait another 45 minutes.

Very comfortable, but pillows like rocks so woke up with neck ache every morning! Staff very attentive especially the breakfast crew. Close to xxxxx Hill Tube Station so handy for sight seeing.

If I was being picky I`d moan about the rather cheap looking room furniture, the 5 mins delay in getting seated for breakfast Saturday & Sunday and the Skylounge drinks prices, but hotel is lovely, wonderfully quiet despite being busy and staff were excellent.

"Superb views from the Skyline bar"

This new hotel is conveniently situated for tourism and business in the City, a couple of minutes walk from xxxxx Hill, xxxxx Gateway and Fenchurch Street stations. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel decor is clean and modern. The bedroom was comfortable and well furnished. I am a frequent visior to London and would definitely stay here again.

from the front desk staff to the breakfast room the hotel runs very well - staff are helpful and polite.Rooms are pristeen comfortable an the hotel itself is spotless.Great views from the Sky Lounge an very conveniant for the xxxxx Hill Station an xxxxx Bridge.Breakfast the 1st morning let the hotel down as it was serve in the Fenchurch Lounge as the Hotel was very full hwever that was the only fault!.Loved hving an iron ironing board hairdryer and Lockable fridge!.Thank you so much h wonerful time @ this hotel...highly recommended.lx

This hotel was in a fabulous central spot enabling us to access all areas of London. Some noisy building work disturbed our first night`s sleep (5am builders started work). However when we complained we were moved to another part of the hotel without any fuss at all.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. We were told breakfasts were very busy at this hotel, but we were taken to a table immediately every morning. Location is ideal, only a stone`s throw from the underground, river cruises and The xxxxx of London. Highly recommended, we`ll be back!

Was ok. Excellent welcome. Room was ready earlier than expected. Asked for a good view from room window and got offices, In the morning, we wanted to sleep in. We had workmen outside the window, taking down scaffolding and although it was a 12pm checkout, the maid was knocking on out door at 10.30. Ate in the Skylounge and was very expensive. The room itself was very nice and clean and bed was comfortable.

We had a three night stay at the hotel and there was nothing whatsoever caused us to have any grumbles. The service and efficiecy overall was excellent. the room was most comforable and was spotlessly clean. We will certainly consider using this location again - 10/10.

Worth noting that there is a Wetherspoon pub (The Liberty Bounds) just around the corner so, if you don`t want to pay £1xxxxx.50pp for continental breakfast, there is a less expensive option. Nice range of beers too!

"Superb Hotel,"

We had a fantastic stay, Staff could not be nicer. Check in and out no delays. Apple TV in room which was also a computer with a keyboard how good was that. Roof top terrace bar was perfect for views and outside drinking. Also if you are a smoker there was an area just for you. PERFECT WEEKEND.

"2nd stay at this excellent hotel."

Excellent position to Thames and xxxxx Bridge sightseeing. 2 min walk from xxxxx Hill Tube station. Sky Lounge bar on top floor offers breath taking views over London. Rooms really lovely and comfortable with all usual facilities - tea/coffee facilities, ironing board iron on request on charge. Safe, hairdryer. Apple imac tv. Breakfast is excellent which includes full english choices as well all full continential. Will def stay here again when staying over in the City.

"An excellent stay at a special price."

We wouldn`t have been staying in the xxxxx Bridge Double Tree if we hadn`t been offered such a good price. The view of xxxxx Bridge and that section of the Thames was stunning and the room was small but had all mod cons. Considering the continental breakfast was free we were happy, but tasty charcuterie and a real croisant would have made a difference.

Overall a really good hotel, extremely polite staff and great location. The Sky Lounge was great although drinks were pricey. Our room was a little small with no view at all but we did book it through a discount website and they probably sell off the smaller rooms in this way. Continental breakfast included in our price and was pretty good too.

Very nice hotel with all what you expect from a 4* hotel. Only disappointment was breakfast with no hot food on the buffet!! The £5 tray charge to be added to room service was very odd!

"Exceptional Standard and Modern Hotel"

The Hotel is modern and food is great. Fantastic rooms and in a great location for visitors of work or leisure. This is a great hotel for couples or business men / women but would not recommend if you have children. We were not allowed into the Sky Lounge even to look at the view as everyone must be over 18. Overall I would give this 90% and would have given much higher had it had being more child friendly. One very good point is that ALL staff were very friendly and would do what ever they could to make sure your stay was as comfortable as possible.

"Trying to be something its not."

Whilst the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, with attentive and very friendly staff, certain small details actually let it down slightly.We mentioned that we were in London to celebrate my girlfriends birthday, so the hotel staff spoke to me with a view to `arrange something for her`. Nothing occured, (not that it was expected anyway). It was more that they did not do what they said they would.At dinner, we were told there were no bread rolls as they were too dry and the lack of sweetners for the coffee was due to `New Year!`The automatic adding of a 10% service charge is something I personally do not approve of, especially when the cost of the items have been highly inflated in the first place.Aside from those bizzare small points, our stay was very good.
