"Some issues"
We were in Scotland during warmer than average weather. There is no air conditioning and the room was unberably hot. There is also no soundproofing at all. You can hear absolutely everything from outside and other rooms and hallways. Safety was also placed so that is was really difficult to use. Breakfast was a bit boring. Otherwise a really nice hotel with these issues.

Friendly staff, room furnishings a bit tired, unsightly scratches on floor, most rooms probably not suited to people with health or mobility problems - no lifts available in the building due to it being listed. Enjoyed meals, but very disappointed that white wine was not chilled.
