"Service perfect, breakfast lovely, rooms a little dated"
Very nice hotel and would use again. Lovely staff - polite and really helpful and nice. Great choice at breakfast - though not the cheapest. Leisure pool and sauna, etc was great. Main let down were the rooms - beds very comfortable but furniture a bit shabby looking and very bad TV set (loud on one channel, too quiet on another, snowy on the next and very little choice). Bathrooms clean an fairly up to date but lots of gurgling of drains - keeping you awake.
The staff was very friendly and the room was to a great standard
"No complaints, and we will be back"
Nothing bad about this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights including New Years Eve. The staff are very friendly, and polite and happy to help. They`ll order you a taxi if there isn`t any in the taxi rank just outside. The hotel istself is very clean and comfortable. If you don`t mind walking its about a 30 - 45 minute walk to theatreland and not much longer to the strand. If I was to have any complaints it would be the lack of parking, but as this is London its nothing more than I`d expected, so I would recomend you book parking at a NCP car park to save you any problems. We pre booked parking at Finsbury Square NCP car park about a 15 min walk away, where the car was left in a secure park where access is only allowed by ticket oo ref number even as a pedestrian. So very secure. So all in a very happy couple of days
The hotel was efficient when we checked in and the rooms were just perfect for a stay in London. Very pleased with our stay, a very clean and well run hotel.
Bed very comfy, power shower good, staff all very helpful and nice. Great breakfast. Good with kids.
"A very enjoyable stay"
We booked a weekend in London; the Hotel was clean and well maintained; All staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The area had a couple of local place to socialise and eat and was within walking distance to local public transport and a short journey into city centre. There is a pool and spa but I didn`t have enough time to try these facilities. All in all I would recommend the hotel and will defiantly stay again.
"very comfortable and within easy reach"
"Clean, good location"
The only thing was overall the staff were great, however i was berated by a receptionist about there being a queue, and that i should wait in it (after i`d waited in it for 20mins and had 2 gentlemen push in front of me to be served by her before me, they were not told to get in the queue). I had food from the bar (avocado on toast) which was brown mush and really not good. Then at breakfast the table was not cleared fully with the cup from the last person left, and not wiped. The waiter then filled the old cup and gave it to me! I said it wasn`t mine, he wasn`t happy about it...i went to get breakfast, he said he had replaced it however the lady at the next table said No it was still the old cup. I found someone else to help, at which point the 1st waiter got really annoyed declaring that i had already had 2 cups! It was quite loud, in front of other guests, and i was really quite embarrassed and uncomfortable.
Clean, comfy, staff professional and friendly Overall booking experience with Hotel direct very efficient, e mails clear and useful directions. Thankyou
