"4* hotel - lovely place! "

The hotel is suituated on the outskirts of London so quite a trek into the centre, however offers parking facilities which is fab at just £15 over night, the hotel has a bar open until 2am which provided a lovely albeit loud place to have a late drink, however don`t be fooled, once you get to your room is peaceful and you cannot hear anything. The room was clean and modern and the pool looked lovely.

"All you could ask for from a hotel"

Well located hotel considering our decision to drive down to London. Easy access on the tube to Central London, approximately 15 minutes. Excellent, clean and well equipped room and hotel in general.

"Wonderful"

Spent two nights at this hotel, it is one of the best I have stayed in, very clean, helpful staff. The beds were comfy and the rooms llook very fresh .bus stop to get into central or to the tube a 2 minute walk would definately stay here again

"really quiet and relaxing"

Friendly helpful staff - one bus ride from the centre but takes a good 40 minutes - lovely local shops for drinks and cakes.

Although outside of Central London there are plenty of transport links I.e. regular buses, on the Jubilee tube line. It is a bit of walk from the nearest tube station but you can always catch a bus. There was no view from the window as it looked out onto a wall, however, this did not bother us as we only used the hotel as a base. Quiet hotel. Try the bakery across the road - the cakes are delicious.

"Clayton crown hotel "

hotel a long way from any attractions. Our first room was like a dungeon. Below ground level with no windows and the swimming pool was outside our room which opened at 7am and closed at 10pm. I mentioned this At reception and they moved us to a room in the older part of the hotel. Room was ok, tatty curtains, bedding not changed after first night just bed made, bathroom tatty, filled holes in the wall, light bulb out, shower head covered in lime scale and wouldn`t get hot - other than that it was ok. No where near the quality we were expecting for the money and the website pictures

Nice hotel. Quite a trek from the nearest tube station so would recommend an oyster card so that you can jump on a bus to the station!

"Location"

The Hotel was very clean, smart and well staffed but the location of the hotel was a little undesirable. We paid for a breakfast buffet in which we expected to have a cooked breakfast included but it was at an extra cost which we were not informed about when checking in.

"Overall - a lovely hotel"

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always had a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay. The staff are all very friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. Just a couple of `niggles` which I think could be sorted easily - some of the rooms are looking a little tired and in the room I stayed in the shower head was broken - this really should have been repaired before letting the room out again. Also, the heating in the first room we were allocated was far too hot. After someone came to fix it, it was still roasting and so had to be moved rooms. However - that said, I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful, comfortable, friendly hotel.

"Very generous room for a London 4 Star. "

A much smarter than I had expected. A huge bedroom. No mini bar, which was a shame. No window, which if we were staying longer would have been a problem but for one night was fine. We slept so well as we were in total darkness & it was dead quiet. Sink plug got stick but house keeping arrived within moments of calling reception which was impressive. We oversept but it wasn`t a problem as for £10/hr you can extend check out.

"Warm, friendly greeting!"

Very nice, friendly reception staff. Nice sized room but disappointed with the room location which was below ground overlooking the pool. I would have preferred a room with natural light and ventilation. The noise of the pool pump didn`t help with getting a good nights sleep.

"NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR PRICE"

1st NIGHT WHEN I THREW BACK SHEETS ,DIRTY EAR WAX ON TOP SHEET AT BOTTOM ,LOOKED LIKE HAD BEEN TURNED.COULD NOT GET SHAMPOO OUT OF CONTAINER, HAND RAIL &SOAP DISH SO CLOSE TO GUEST,KEPT TOUCHING VERY COLD NEARLY MADE ME SLIP.

"Fantastic hotel and wonderful staff."

Had a great weekend stay at crown hotel.rooms are very spacious with everything you need.breakfast was fantastic with tons of choice and staff were so polite and extremely helpful.the decor in the hotel is beautiful.would reccomend to everyone.

"Overal very nice stay"

Hotel clean staff very pleasant and helpful. Only issues I had was I tried to book three rooms direct when I contacted the hotel by phone but was told I had to book online, which I did three twin rooms for six men however sadly when we arrived could only supply my group with double rooms which is not ideal. One other thing we stay on the 17th may 2014 and the rooms air conditioning did not work and a very hot sweaty night. Was endured. Sharing a bed with another guy was not very good

"Super hotel"

Apart from the small error of allocating the wrong room when we arrived, we found this hotel to be one of the best we have ever stayed at. We were quickly allocated the correct room with no queries whatsoever from the reception staff. The whole place is spacious, airy and immaculately clean. The room was quiet and very well appointed, and cleaned and ample supplies replenished thoroughly daily. The food in the old part of the original Crown Inn was delicious, piping hot and served in a timely way. All the staff were beyond criticism. We would not hesitate to stay again - it was within easy travel time to Wembley Arena, and although it is a bit away from Central London, the bus service and tube links are convenient and efficient. To be recommended.

"Enjoyable stay"

Lovely stay at the Crown Moran. Staff were friendly at the reception desk when I arrived and very happy with my room as it was quiet and clean so I had a comfortable stay. Only small complaint is that the shower wasn`t hot enough.

"first class"

Stayed here the night before an event at Wembley. The hotel was excellent. Car park was a squeeze but it was secure. Travel into central London was easy, a 15 minute walk to the tube. I would definely use this hotel again, especially for an event at Wembley.

I have stayed in the crown Moran quite a few times over the years, I have always found the hotel very clean and staff most helpful. Unfortunately on this occasion my husband left his new overcoat in the hotel bar on the Friday we arrived ( 14 th Feb) when we inquired at the desk to see if the coat had been handed in we were to no and that was that, I returned to the desk on the sat and Sunday and was met with the same answer " no coat had been handed "in when I asked if the lost property room could be checked I was informed the house keeper was not available, I felt the reception staff did little to check the list property or to contact the house keeper over the three days, the attitude towards myself and my husband was disappointing to say the least. Finally on Sunday we called room service our food arrived cold, my husbands steak was Blue ! When we ordered medium, we left the in tact A refund should have been offered

"I found it to be a very relaxed and comfortable stay"

The Room was spacious, clean and considering it`s proximity to a busy main road virtually sound proof. Having a pool and gym was an added extra that I appreciated. My double bed was comfortable and fitted me easily (I am well over six foot and some hotels have beds that my feet hang out of ). Overall very impressed

"Good Comfortable Stay "

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a function at the hotel. The room was as would be expected for the hotel. bed was fine and comfy, plenty of pillows. Bathroom had a full-sized bath that you could stretch out in. Pool area is nice and even though not well used is kept warm, however they do not have a sauna as stated. Breakfast was nice, but I am not too sure if it is worth £14.95 a head, ours was included in cost of room so was fine. Would stay again if we have a function in the hotel and recommend if you are attending the hotel for a function but a bit far out for sight-seeing in London. Ideal for Wembley and the arena.

Hotel was lovely, but room was cold. Told reception who said they would send someone with a heater but never received it. Had to sleep with jumpers on and a spare blanket we found in the wardrobe !

"Nice facilities and very well kept."

Lovely hotel, loved the location as a night bus runs right outside the hotel into the centre of London. Room very clean and comfy and swimming pool also a good extra. Beware that parking costs £20, we were told on the phone a few days before we went that it was £10 but that wasn`t the case, they do waive the car parking if you have something from the restaurant but given that we were off out to a show and dinner that was no good for us. Also when reading the info in the room it mentions that if you want a sauna to ask reception so as to get the temp right but when asking was met with a very confused person saying they don`t have a sauna! Don`t include it in your room info then! Was made to feel a bit stupid! However I would stay in the hotel again and was a great bargain for a fab break in London!

"Great stay with excellent staff and Facilities"

I would like to see a clock in the rooms preferably digital. The room we stayed in was very clean and quiet. However at night time with the lights out the room was pitch black......Great for sleeping but hard to navigate around without switching lights on, a small night lite in a plug socket would have been great!!, other than that we were very pleased with the overall quality of the Rooms and Hotel facilities.

"Clean, modern and extremally friendly hotel"

Rooms are lovely with plenty of room and are very clean. Hotel has good underground parking and the restarant was very good. Location wise was perfect for us as a family as we got the bus to Kilburn then the tube from there into the West End. Very very easy. Hotel also has a swimming pool that looked amazing unfortunatly we did get a chance to use it. Save it for next time. Would recommed it especially for familys or couples.

"Terrific Hotel"

Good size room excellent bathroom all clean and spotless. Food superb and good value. Bar prices as in a pub so that is unusual for a London hotel. Would recommend this hotel but be sure of its location in relation to what you want to do.
