Stayed here last weekend it was in a great location a we travelled to London euston which is really close by. Then the west end Covent garden are within walking distance. Hotel is really nice with lots of character, would stay there again for sure.

"Avoid if possible"
Although the location is ideal at £100 per night room only, I would expect to at least have a room I could sleep in. apart from the continues hum of the generators situated in the centre courtyard of the hotel, on two of the three nights iwas booked in for the disco noise from the function room carried on until 1.30 each morning. It is the first time I have had to resort to earplugs to try and get some sleep.

We would definitely recommend this hotel. We originally booked x2 twin rooms (4 female friends). However, on arrival we were allocated 4 singles as they were overbooked. Expecting broom cupboards, we were very pleasantly surprised, as each room was spacious as was the en-suite bathroom and as a bonus the staff had made sure the rooms were on the same floor and close to each other. Very clean, obviously newly refurbished. All staff very friendly but unobtrusive. Very close to underground and lots of taxis.We would definitely use this hotel again.

Our room was spacious, bathroom needs attention, broken floor tile and taps, bed comfortable, and overall an enjoyable stay. Would book again.

"would definatly reccomend"
i stayed one night 26/01/13 paid £90 for a double , ( room only) which was nice, clean, comfortable. nice hot easy to use shower. The hotel is 2mins walk from tube , the hotel is very big and presents itself well as a 4star. Paid £12 for breakfast , and its help urself style, there is everything u could possibly want. Overall, - no complaints.

"perfect location, very well presented hotel"
the hotel was as regal on the inside as on the out, and in keeping with the year it was built, every thing was done in a polite friendly way and let to a layed back relaxed stay. the room was quite small but very tastfully done, and felt clean and cosy, i would have happily stayed a week. for such a large place it did feel nice and i would definatley stay again.

Happy with the room as we got a good deal, nothing overly special. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The location was great, right near the tube and one stop from kingscross, this really made the weekends travel easy! Would stay at the hotel again.

The hotel is beautiful and our twin room was superb, really clean, spacious and the decor was lovely and had a really nice en suite bathroom. There was only one problem we ate in the restaurant which was freezing and one of the meals had to go back because it was cold. The staff were really apologetic and it certainly didn`t spoil our stay. Would recommend the hotel and are already thinking about a return visit.

Booked secret hotel and this is where we stayed. Upgraded by hotel as they realised it was my birthday. Excellent spacious room, very comfortable bed, 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend!

"Lovely Hotel and a Brilliant Stay"
Stayed Friday night at the xxxxx. Excellent location, hotel and staff were v courteous. Hotel was immaculately clean and breakfast was amazing. Tip for those driving into London as we did, there is a car park just along the road attached to another hotel ( the Imperial) ( The xxxxx doesnt have a car park) was only £18 for 24 hours. Bargain. Would definitely recommend. A***** service and stay

All in all for the amount of money we paid and how easy it was to book and with the added conformation just before we left, I thought our entire stay was excellent. Hotel very clean, standards high, bar prices about normal for London hotel. Did not have evening meal there but menu looked quite good and not to pricey. room not massive but perfect for a night or 2. Bathroom nice size with bath and shower. Lovely old building.

Cannot fault it in anyway clean and tidy throughout hotel . room had everything we needed beautiful decor in public areas .good location. Breakfast was lovely .staff from check in bar staff restaurant staff concierge and the cleaners were all probably the most friendly and helpful I have ever dear with and are a credit to hotel . Would write more if I could would love to stay again . ever come across .from check in to bar staff the concierge restaurant staff and the cleaners everyone was extremely politeffriendly was very clean as was the rest of the hotel and contained everything we needed

"Internet charges"
Whilst the hotel is in general good .....the internet useage charge of 15GBP for 24 hours is epensive. Similar rated hotels in the area do not charge for this service.

"Friendly Hotel and Pro-active Staff."
I have to say this hotel was good in every respect and good value for money also very clean and non intrusive .... room service was prompt and breakfast was quick and easy with friendly smiling staff . Which is very rare in London . Highly recommended.

"A very good hotel"
Excellent situation. Reception staff were charming, arrangements being made for a broken wardrobe door to be mended in no time. Continental breakfast very good. Upgrade gave us a lovely room overlooking the square, the only drawback to that being that the traffic noise - throughout the night, pretty much - was a little intrusive. Overall, however, a very recommendable hotel.

A small but comfy room with an excellent bathroom. A good breakfast served in an attractive Victorian dining room. Perhaps a little further from the main shopping area than we realised as we like to walk everywhere but excellent location for visiting the British Museum.

"Friendly staff made my stay."
A lovely part of london. The Brunswick Centre great for dining. Close to underground and I was able to walk to covent garden and Leicester Sq at 7 pm and walk home safely at 9.30. The downside of the hotel was that there was no free wifi, no leisure centre or gym and a cup of coffee in the bar at night cost £3.95!!! I wasnt drinking coffee but had to give another guest 57p so they didnt have to break £50.

Nice hotel, very quiet for a London hotel. Is in walking distance of St.Pancras and only a 15 minute slow amble to Covent Garden and Leicester Square. At £19 for the breakfast we gave it a miss loads of places close to hotel for good food.

"Good quality hotel room"
Checking in was a little slow. When I got to the front of the queue the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. Room was very comfortable and nicely furnished and decorated. The view was awful, we over looksd a courtyard full of air conditioning machinery! I just pulled the blind and ignored it ! The bathroom was well appointed and very clean. However climbing in and out of the shower/bath was difficult as the side was so high. The bath mat had been placed in the bottem of the bath and the wall handles were used. I did slip getting in and out, I will have a lovely bruise tomorrow! My husband claimed to have also slipped! So beware!!! All in all a nice room in a fab location!
