"Brilliant stay!"
The reception, bar staff and restaurant staff were friendly and polite, room good, food good. The only fault is if you are staying in that hotel you would expect the leisure facilities free. Overall brilliant stay.

"comfortable, warm hotel. continental breakfast was good. staff generally helpfull."
location 10 min walk from Russell Square tube train to take you into city.  Â£9 for a taxi to the strand for the theatre so not bad. 
Only bad point was the smell as you walked into the hotel from all the smokers.  Perhaps they could be directed out and to the left of the door which has more cover for them and the main stream of people dont have to walk through them or passed the ashtrays. All in all the hotel helped make our trip a good one, thanks.

"Hotel Customer Service Standards"
Although the room was clean and of a good `expected` standard, the customer service experienced within the hotel restaurant was not so great, with the staff somewhat unwelcoming. This fact lets the hotel down.

Hotel provided good standard but I felt did not quite hit the 4* standard that I have previously experienced through an Hotel Direct Hidden Gem.
