"Great hotel, good location"

Have stayed at a number of 5 star hotels in London but so far this is my favourite and I have now stayed here a number of times - I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel

"Exceptional standard"

This was our first stay in a 5* hotel and more than met our expectaions. The staff were very friendly, helpful and we felt nothing was too much trouble. we stayed for 3 nights and was extremely happy with the facilities and service. Our room was situated on the second floor, we had booked a double deluxe, we did not overlook the Thames, our view was of the street at the front of the hotel entrance, which was perfectly fine for our stay. My husband and I would not hesitate to book into this hotel again, its extremley close to all Londons attractions and we didnt need to take the tube at all during our stay as everything was well within walking distance to the hotel, Trafalgar Square, Leicester square, covent garden, soho, and the London eye was just accross the road/river, the nearest tube should we have needed it was just 1 minute walk from the hot

"Fantastic hotel, great views from river view room"

We had initially ruled out this hotel as being too expensive, but after booking it at the mystery hotel rate we were delighted to find out which one it was.Great location and the river view executive rooms are worth the upgrade just to be able to sit at the window and watch the comings and goings. Great view of the New Years eve rehearsals as well!!! Bit misleading to describe it as Strand though as it isn`t off the Strand, and in fact its location is even better! Whitehall would be a better description. All the staff we dealt with were brilliant too, really friendly and nothing too much trouble.

"The epitome of hotel luxury"

This hotel is just fabulous. We had an upgrade to a double deluxe room (712) which had a wonderful view of the London Eye and the city out of the window. The room was a great size - underfloor bathroom heating was a lovely touch along with TV in the bath, Elemis toiletries and gorgeous mood lighting. Breakfast was a real treat, and all public areas immaculate and luxurious. The staff bent over backwards to ensure we had a fab time. Cannot speak highly enough of this place.

"Fantastic bargain really enjoyed our secret hotel break!"

Beautiful room, beautiful reception! Fabulous location, lovely staff. Free room upgrade for our anniversary which was very kind. 2 minute walk to embankment underground station. We had A river facing room, fantastic views of the Thames, the shard, and the London Eye. Would definitely stay in this hotel, really pleased we took a chance on it, it was fantastic

"Beautiful building but an expensive room for the poor view"

Beautiful building and excellent location being central for all major sights and attractions. Disappointed with the view from our room which was off a ventilation shaft and a brick wall.

"Great hotel, staff wonderful, great location."

This hotel was every bit a 5 star hotel, The room had great little touches, the bar was a great place to sit and relax after a long day.the staff make this a wonderful place to stay. Thanks to all

A lovely hotel, clean with friendly staff. We thought we would treat ourselves to breakfast, thinking it might be special at £30 a head, just average and the service was awful, asked for toast and it never came to us or the two tables around us. Took 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee which was weak and not worth the wait and no top ups in sight! This experience will probably stop us from visiting again

"Beautiful Hotel, Excellent Service"

We were really pleased with our stay at the xxxxx xxxxx Hotel. The room was superb and the upgrade given at Reception was unexpected. Excellent!
