"staff were very good room was lovely only thing can fault was our room didn`t have a bath as well"
Would diffently stay again
Bedding very comfortable but the bar shutting at 1 was too early and it would have been nice if there were some vegetarian sandwich options for the room service
"Kensington Close Hotel"
Had a 4 night stay here, on a mini-break with me wife. Great location, with plenty of restaurants etc nearby and excellent transport links for all parts of London. Room was good (we were upgraded to Executive room on arrival). Didn`t use other hotel facilities, so can`t comment on those.
"Overall a great hotel with friendly staff but the room was disappointing "
We love the hotel and the staff are great. But we booked a executive double room and the bed was made up of two mattresses put side by side, it was a normal type of room that you would expect to find in any hotel and I also paid for a movie but found it kept jumping making it difficult to watch. I was disappointed in the room after a lovely afternoon at the hotel with some fantastic food and a relaxing swim. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Real shame about the room.
Great location, with tube station around the corner. Our twin room was quite small but was clean.
"Great service "
Apart from one member of the breakfast crew team who really didn`t want to be at work everyone else made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was well cooked and available right until hte end of service. Although toast could have been put through the machine for a second time. Prices in the bar are a bit excessive we went to claridges and paid less for champagne. Clean, spacious room, new bathroom suite. Lovely break but it is the staff who make this hotel. Well done.
"A very pleasant stay"
"brilliant location . just a short walk from Kensington Gardens and other attractions of this delight"
"Enjoyed our visit , staff was very polite & helpful at all times . "
While I was only there for one night, noise was a major off-putting factor. Obscure reggae music until 2a.m. in the room on one side and then BBC Breakfast news bellowing out from 6a.m. next morning in the room on the other side was not conducive to a decent night`s sleep. Then there was the banging and clashing from people working in the service yard below from early morning. Wasn`t even asked if I`d enjoyed my stay - but was too tired to complain. Yet another hotel charging an extortionate rate for an English Breakfast (£19, I seem to recollect), so I went up to the High Street and boosted the profits of the McDonald`s Corporation
