"Excellent in every way"
A good hotel but I found that there was a slight language barrier and this complicated matters somewhat. On arrival, I was given a room that was obviously for a disabled person, although spacious, I would have had to sit on a chair to shower. Then I returned to reception in order to change rooms and was given room 171, which turned out to be slightly bigger than a phone box. I returned to reception once again and was allotted room 170. Sadly, it was the same size as the previous room and having been unable to explain to the receptionist that I had paid for an Executive double, in order to have more space, I gave up trying to explain because she did not seem to understand what I was trying to say. The next morning however, I was given room 807, which was a much bigger room thankfully. Now I am left wondering if I was overcharged for my first nights` accommodation. Apart from the language barrier, the staff are very helpful and polite and will attend to your every request.
"Good clean hotel with excellent service."
The hotel was in a good location. Very clean with good service. However, the noise travelled through the bedrooms when other guests entered and left their rooms.
"London Weekend "
Stayed at the Kensington Close hotel as a base for our 4 night trip to London, 2 minute walk from the High street with bus/underground links direct to west end, excellent comfortable family room, very efficient staff and excellent service, would recommend and use again.
"Room was vey cramped. Biscuits with the tea making facilities would have been nice"
"Hotel very comfortable, close to shops and underground."
In room menus not very good.Sometimes it take too long to check in.
"Towel Sharing, (nice)"
Staff were very helpful and friendly, hotel was nice and clean, and very convenient for the underground which gave us great access to London. The only gripe I had was that we had to share towels` there was only one of each, ie 1x bath 1x hand , so I just had to use the same towel as the wife when she had her shower.
Very disappointed staying here. We were placed in a small room next to a room that was being renovated. The work started at 8am on both mornings and finished at about 6. From banging to sawing to drilling. Nice hotel but this ruined our stay
the people at the hotel were really friendly- unfortunately once i got into my room that was small, it was located next to a boiler that was extremely noisy and preceded to clunk and rattle all through the night leading to the most unpleasant nights sleep ever. i did mention it when checking out in the morning and all i got was were sorry. would not stay here again and would not recommend to anyone unless you confirm a room away from storage rooms.
