"we had a wonderful time all the staff where so friendly and helpfull"
hotel clean and food veru good , staff nice and friendly and helpfull would recommend and return
Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms and a wide variety on offer for breakfast.
"Nice place to stay"
Lovely hotel, very courteous and friendly staff. Room was small standard but served our purpose of using as a base whilst spending the weekend in London. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and very reasonable price. Would stay again :-)
"Some good aspects (staff, breakfast and location) others very disappointing (bathroom, TV, noise)"
Location was very convenient for me, staff very welcoming and efficient, breakfast arrangements slick and food good. Unfortunately, waitnig times at the desk were very long, my room was noisy, bathroom very cramped (tiny sink and no room for toiletries etc,) TV turned itself on twice in the night. This was not a good experience.
"Room was comfortable and clean. Very good breakfast. Don`t agree with extra charge for swimming pool"
"better than expected"
overall we had a good stay, the room was clean, plenty of towels, the bed was comfy, the staff were friendly and very helpful and the buffy style breakfast was excellent well worth the paying the extra. we will stay again
An excellent hotel. Our second stay. Convenient for central London and very well run. Staff as always very helpful, cheerful and incredibly efficient. Despite staying at peak holiday time, we found there was plenty of space to relax in the lounge and foyer areas. Breakfast and evening meals were also very good. The fitness facilities, especially the swimming pool, are a great bonus, despite having to pay an extra fee to use them. The one downside was that our bathroom was small and cramped, with little space to stow items when having a shower. Otherwise, the room itself was a good size, very clean and relatively quiet, despite being at the front of the building. Will definitely stay there again!
"Spacious communal areas, very welcoming staff, slick breakfast arrangements, rather noisy room"
Nice hotel with staff who were welcoming, well trained and eager. Facilities were generally excellent with a particularly slick breakfast scene, lots of choice and pacey service. Room was a bit disappointing, lots of extraneous noise, whirring outside, clicking from pipework and systems etc
"good location, poor service, almost too many staff so they do not communicate"
this is a reasonably large tourist rather than business hotel and works as such. my telephone did not work, even though I told reception several times. the bathroom was new, but completely impractical, very narrow and there were no instructions for anything. in 2014 in a major capital city i expected to have a bigger range of free to air channels.
"Staff and food excellent - room a little tired"
Bathroom was excellent, bedroom in need of refurbishment. Picture was lobsided on wall as one screw had come out of wall. Bed was small could have easily fit a kingsize bed as headboard was kingsize. Furniture was tired and cupboard with kettle on was too high for the flex. Could not open window as handle was missing. Good deal price wise via Hotel Direct, but would have been disappointed if full price was paid for the room.
we had a wonderful time all...
