The 3* Elegant Chester Station Hotel offers 75 comfortably furnished rooms, all of which have ensuite bathrooms. In-room amenities include flat screen TV, free Wi-fi, work desk, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant of its own, breakfast is served at The Queen at Chester Hotel opposite in The Kings Grill. A varied menu of British classics is also available from 6pm every evening. Alternatively, hotel staff will be happy to make recommendations in the local area, as Chester has plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from.
Hotel and location:
The Chester Station Hotel is located opposite Chester Railway Station and is less than 10 minutes walk from the city centre. It is a very convenient location for both business travellers and visitors wishing to explore this historic Roman City. Chester boasts the most complete City Walls in Britain, 2 miles long. Visitors should also make sure to visit Chester Cathedral (which is free to enter) and peruse the shops in The Rows. This hotel is also a great location for visiting Chester Racecourse, which is less than 2 miles approximately 10 minutes drive or for a family day out to Chester Zoo, just 4 miles away. Parking is available at a pay and display car park next to the Hallmark Hotel Chester The Queen opposite, where guests receive reduced rates.
Getting there:
BY TRAIN: Exit Chester Railway Station from Station Road onto City Road and the hotel is on the right.
BY ROAD: Heading north west on the M53, at Junction 10, take the A5117 exit to Queensferry/Stanlow. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto A5117 and then at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Strawberry Way E/A5117. Almost immediately at the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Whitby Ln/A5032 and continue for 1 mile. Make a slight left onto Liverpool Rd/A41 and then after 1.2 miles turn right onto Liverpool Rd/A5116. At the roundabout take the 1st exit and stay on Liverpool Rd/A5116 for the next mile. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit to stay on this route. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Brook Ln and then turn right onto Victoria Rd. Turn left onto St Oswalds Way/A5268 and then at the roundabout take the 2nd exit to stay on St Oswalds Way. Turn left onto The Bars/A5268 and keep left to continue on City Road and the hotel will be on your left.

No onsite parking. Guests receive a discounted rate at the Pay & Display car park opposite the hotel next to The Queen at Chester Hotel (spaces subject to availability). Guests must enter their full, correct vehicle registration details into the terminal at reception within The Queen at Chester Hotel to obtain a parking permit.
