Not being a person who is savvy with computers, I found Hotel Direct very easy to use. I first chose the show I wanted to see. Then I chose the hotel and finally the train tickets. Everything is so simple, all I had to then was to print the paperwork and train tickets.

What hotel options are available?

How much can I save vs booking separately?
Our customers typically save up to 15% on hotel costs and up to 45% on rail fares by booking as part of a package. Theatre ticket prices are the same whether booked as part of a package or separately, so you don't pay more for those. What is the cancellation policy?
Theatre break packages are pre-paid, non-refundable and non-changeable. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover your booking. If your circumstances change before travel, contact our UK-based team on 0800 633 8000 (Mon-Fri) and we'll advise on your options.
Are theatre breaks ABTA protected?
Yes. All Hotel Direct theatre break packages are fully ABTA bonded and are subject to UK Package Regulation protections.

Can I choose my theatre seats?
Yes - before booking you can choose your exact seats with our seat selection tool, which usually shows a full seating plan for your chosen theatre, including the grade of each seat. So you'll know exactly where you're sitting and what to expect before you confirm.
Seat grades are based upon the theatre's own price categories: An A* seat would be the theatre's most expensive seat type, indicating it has the best viewing experience. Where should I stay?
Once you've chosen your show, we'll show you the hotels that sell best with that production - ranked by distance to the theatre, star rating, and price. Most of our central London hotels are within walking distance of Theatreland, so you can make a full evening of it without worrying about the last tube home. What's the best way to get to London?
For most visitors, the train is the quickest and most straightforward option - and booking rail as part of your theatre break saves you up to 45% on your rail fare. For tighter budgets, you can add National Express coach travel to your theatre break - available from hundreds of departure points across the UK. Self-drive is also possible, though we'd recommend checking parking costs, congestion charges and ULEZ charges in advance.
How do I add travel to my theatre break?
You can do this easily as part of the booking process. Once you've chosen your show, dates and hotel, select "add rail" or "add coach" when prompted, and follow the steps to select your stations, travel times, and seat options.
How and when will I receive my tickets?
Theatre e-tickets are sent to your email address immediately upon booking. For selected performances, tickets are dispatched 72 hours before the show date. Just make sure your email address is entered correctly at checkout.
