The Normandy Hotel is tastefully decorated to reflect the hotel`s Parisian setting and grand heritage. Hotel and location:

The Normandy Hotel is a grand, traditional property in the heart of the Opera District. Although not officially rated, Hotel Direct has visited the property and would class it of a 3 star Deluxe to 4 star standard. The hotels prime location means that you are only a 5 minute walk from the world famous Musee du Louvre, one of the world`s largest museums. Other great attractions in the local area include the Palais Royal, a 3 minute walk from the hotel and the spectacular Palais Garnier, Paris`s premier opera house, just over a 10minute walk from the hotel. Other attractions such as Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower can be easily reached using the Metro system from the nearest station which is a 2 minute walk from the Normandy hotel.

Getting there:

BY METRO: Exit Palais Royale Station (Lines 1 and 7) turn left onto Rue Saint Honore and follow around to the right and then follow to the left for 100 meters. Turn right onto Rue de L`Echelle and the hotel is on the left hand side after 30 meters.
FROM CHARLES DE GAULLE AIRPORT: Take the A1 from the airport towards Paris and take the exit towards Rouen/Peripherique Ouest, then merge on to Boulevard Peripherique. Take the D14 exit towards A16/A15/Cergy-Pontoise/Porte de Clignanacourt, after 4km turn left onto Avenue de la Porte de Clignancourt, continue onto Boulevard Ornano. Continue onto Boulevards Barbes, continue onto Boulevard de Magenta, and Turn right onto Rue de Maubeuge. Turn left onto Rue le Peletier, turn right onto Boulevards des Italiens, next turn left onto Rue de la Michodiere then continue onto Rue Gaillon. Finally turn left onto Avenue de l`Opera and take the slight right onto Rue de l`Echelle and the hotel will be ahead on the right hand side.

City Tax: The City of Paris will levy a city tax of 1.80 euro per person per day which cannot be included in our room rate at this hotel but is instead payable at the hotel.
