The Troy Hotel is a privately owned 3* boutique hotel in which is situated in a quiet terraced street perfectly located close to Hyde Park in Bayswater. The nearest Underground station is Queensway, which is a 3 minute walk from the hotel and places you just a few tube stops on the Central Line from Marble Arch and Oxford Street, giving easy access to London`s West End. Getting there:NEAREST UNDERGROUND: QUEENSWAY (central line). 3 mins walk. Cross the road and keeping Hyde Park on your right, walk along Bayswater Road. Take 2nd left onto Queensborough Terrace. The hotel is number 68 - 70 on your right. ALTERNATIVELY from Bayswater station, turn right at the exit and walk for a few minutes to the junction with Bayswater road. Turn left and the hotel is on the 2nd street on the left.

  The standard double room was on the small side , though still more than adaquite . Clean tidy with a good breakfast menu.

"Very convenient location, friendly staff and a good breakfast."
The room we were in was very cramped, the sink didn`t drain very well, the extractor fan in bathroom generally didn`t work, but then on occasions it suddenly started working. The room was very warm, although it had a small bedside fan, it was hard to sleep at night. The hotel needs air conditioning, which was only noticeable in the breakfast area.

"Good value hotel in a great location, , good service."
We stayed twice during a recent trip and the second stay the room was really small, the TV snowy and the heating too hot.  The first 2 night stay was much better.  I have stayed at the Troy 4 times now and find it good value in a great location with lovely reception staff.  The tube was on strike and reception arranged an aiport transfer quickly and easily

Well appointed, quiet location, very convenient for tube and bus, helpful polite staff, clean and tidy, good breakfast. One downside beds were very uncomfortable need to be re-newed. Would go again and would recommend if latter is rectified.

"Very good value for money hotel. Good location & met our needs perfectly."
The Troy hotel was the best value for money hotel in London we have stayed in. We have stayed overnight in London several times to take in a show & found the Troy hotel to be ideally located, just a 5 minute walk from Queensway tube station.
The room we had was on the 4th floor. It was small but very clean & we didn`t hear any noise during the night & therefore slept very well. The breakfast(included in the price)was simple but adequate & we would definately stay there again.

"Good location but facilities too small, corridors dirty"
The location near a tube station and restaurants was good but the staff are impersonal. The corridors were dirty and laundry trolleys were left blocking access to the lift. The lift broke down but was repaired within a day. The shower cubicle and toilet were so small, there was nowhere to sit. I would be reluctant to stay there again.
