Good
The Show
Making his return to the West End stage, award-winning actor David Tennant, stars in Good, a post war drama set in 1930's Germany. Tennant plays lead character John Hadler, a professor and all round "good" man who tries to rationalise the actions of the Nazi party and initially attempts pushing them 'towards humanity', although he soon succumbs to his desire for an easy life. John finds himself caught up in a movement that he never imagined as the world hurtles towards the second world war, but how will this end for him? Directed by the Olivier Award-winning Dominic Cooke, this play will make you question just how possible it is to be good when everything else is falling apart?

History of Good
Originally commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company, Good was written by British playwright Cecil Philip Taylor and premiered in London's West End in 1981. The play has since been performed by many other theatre companies. In 2008 a film adaptation was released featuring Jodie Whittaker and Viggo Mortensen.
