"Bathroom issues"
Cannot fault excellent professional staff. Nice clean rooms. We had an issue with our toilet which was sorted during the day by maintenance but came back at midnight to a flooded floor. Having to change rooms at that time of night was not ideal. Thankfully not fully booked or goodness knows.......

"-"
Room and breakfast was good. However our room only got cleaned once while we were there (3 night), we had to go to reception to get clean mugs and sugar etc because they didn`t get cleaned or replaced.

"Overall comfort and cleanliness "
We booked the hotel through an agent, but there was a problem. The problem was solved after the staff communicated with the agent. I feel that the staff is very helpful and interesting. The room is clean and breakfast is provided

"Good clean hotel "
Hotel is quite central, nice and clean. The lifts are a bit of a nuisance, one of them always out of action leaving only 1 for all guests and floors (10)
Otherwise a great place to stay

"Cheap, well located hotel/noisy and run down"
The hotel is really well located, the room was clean and the price was cheap. The breakfast was included in the price, which is always a bonus. The room was clean but the flush in the toilet was broken, only being able to flush by introducing the hand inside the cistern. The lamp by the side of the table had some cracks too. The worst part was the painters in the corridor outside the room, talking really loudly non stop from 8am. It seemed like they didn`t know they were in a hotel with people sleeping, more like they were in the pub having a laugh.

"Okay, but a few little niggles."
My wife and I recently spent four nights at Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Centre - Oxford Road. The location was very convenient for exploring the city and for train and tram links. We were in room 803. It was quite a large room and although neither of us are disabled, it was adapted for people with disabilities. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and we slept well. There were, however, a few niggles. The bedside phone did not work, so it was not easy to contact reception. The shower leaked from the shower tray into the dry area of the bathroom, causing a slip hazard. The door into the bathroom was difficult to close fully and then to open. There was no plug in the sink. Although the room was quite large there was not much storage space for clothes etc. The space could be utilised better. Breakfast was okay, but finished at 09.30 a.m. A 10.00 a.m. finish would have been more convenient. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
