Completely renovated in April 2012, The Hotel Indigo Edinburgh is a boutique hotel with a truly unique feel. Set in a perfect location within Edinburgh`s New Town, the Hotel Indigo is just 8 minutes walk from Edinburgh`s Waverley Station. Despite its overwhelmingly contemporary appeal it sits inside five beautiful Georgian townhouses that date back to the 1800s. Funky twisted trees in brightly coloured pots stand to greet visitors outside the hotel, contrasting with the old world character of the listed buildings. Situated in the heart of Edinburgh, the Indigo Edinburgh is within walking distance of Omni Centre Edinburgh, Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre, and Calton Hill. Also nearby are Princes Street Gardens and St. Giles` Cathedral, St James Centre is just around the corner and Broughton Streets quirky arts and crafts boutiques are two minutes away. The hotel is eight miles from Edinburgh International Airport.

Getting there:

ON FOOT: From Waverley Train Station. Turn right out of the station and cross Princes Street, proceed north to St Andrews square. Pass along the eastern side of the square until you reach the junction with York Place. Turn right along York Place for 150 metres where the hotel is situated opposite St Pauls and St Georges church. The walk will take approximately 8 minutes.
BY CAR: From the North/North West. Follow signs to Edinburgh City Centre. Follow Queensferry Rd to city centre and turn left onto Queen St. Drive to end of Queen St and continue onto York Place where the hotel is situated on the right hand side of the road opposite St. Paul`s and St. George`s Church.
From the South. From the A1 follow the signs to Edinburgh City Centre. At B1350 branch right onto the London Road. Continue on the London Road until the A900. Take A900 to Picardy Place roundabout. Take 2nd Exit onto Picardy Place, and straight onto York Place. The hotel is opposite St Paul`s & St George`s church.

Car Parking:

5 secure onsite car parking spaces at the rear of the hotel charged at £12 per day. Please go to reception and ask for the electronic key fob to access the car park. Alternatively there are 2 multi storey car parks available. The closest on is St James NCP behind the hotel and they can offer a 10% reduction on your tickets. 24 hours are approximately £13.60. The 2nd car park is Greenside NCP and they can offer reduced tickets of £10 per 24 hours.
