The 4* Hotel Indigo Torquay, which opened in November 2025 has 153 rooms and suites, many with sea views. All are fully air-conditioned and include free Wi-Fi, coffee machine, flat-screen TV, hairdryer and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Larger Premium rooms have seaviews and some have balconies, King or Twin Suites have a lounge area. During their stay guests have use of the hotel`s Fitness Suite. Root & Reef Bistro on the ground floor offers a casual dining menu in relaxing surroundings. In fine weather guests can also enjoy the sea views from the rooftop bar.

Hotel and location:

The 4* Hotel Indigo Torquay is a stylish seafront hotel, within walking distance of many local attractions and 5 minutes from Torquay railway station. 20 minutes along the promenade is Torquay Marina and Princess Gardens. At the Marina visitors can walk along Princess Pier, where there is also a theatre. Torre Abbey Sands, a popular sandy beach, is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, they are also plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Torquay Station turn right onto Rathmore Road (towards the seafront). At the corner turn right onto Torbay Road for the hotel.
BY CAR: From M5 Continue onto Devon Expressway/A38 following signs for Plymouth/Torquay. Follow this route for approximately 13 miles and continue onto South Devon Expressway. Make a slight left onto Hamelin Way and continue onto Riviera Way/A3022. After 2.6 miles turn right onto Torbay Road for the hotel.
