"Not up to usual standards"
Been to this hotel before but unfortunately don`t think I will return. We wasn`t Informed about the restaurant and bar being closed. The breakfast food was not up to standard and had to wait for empty dishes to be replaced. The room was clean but the towels and tea coffee and milk was not replenished. As we had to spend more time in the room because of hotel facilities being closed we ran out and bought our own from the shops. Sadly I dont think I will be returning

" Comfortable and pleasant stay"
Great location for visitors to explore Brighton arriving by train. Clean and war. Friendly and polite staff. Rooms spacious and bed comfy. Loved having a bath and shower in en suite. Food tasty and reasonably priced. Decor bright and very appealing and tasteful. Value for money excellent ( booked as rail package from Cambridge) exceeded expectations for price and facilities.

"Room cramped"
TV taking up space when could be mounted on wall. Phone on bedside locker which could also be mounted on wall. Bedside lamps not suitable for reading in bed. Temp heater due to lack of heating taking up even more room. Cramped space. Fried eggs had raw egg white around yolks. Should be cooked properly by splashing oil over them. Rest of breakfast OK. Coffee good. Very cold breakfast dining space but could be due to COVID and weather outside being very cold

"Very nice hotel"
Stayed here for 1 night and found the hotel to be very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.Short walk to all the shops. The main problem is the parking, we wasted an hour standing in the freezing cold waiting for the station kiosk to open so we could pay for our parking and get the half price discount the hotel gives you as this is the only place you can park and the discount is for half price which makes a big difference to the cost.Lovely hotel but not fond of the parking arrangements.
