All of the 65 rooms at the 3* Livermead Cliff Hotel, many of which have sea views, are tastefully decorated and have ensuite bathrooms. Hotel and location:

The 3* Livermead Cliff Hotel enjoys an elevated position, within its own gardens, offering uninterrupted views across Torbay, known as the English Riviera. The hotel is less than half a mile from Torquay Railway Station, approximately 15 minutes walk and is also within easy walking distance of popular local attractions. The seafront and beaches are an easy stroll in 10-12 minutes and further along the bay are the Marina and Town Centre which are approximately 20 minutes walk. The Princess Theatre and Pier are also about a mile from the hotel along the seafront, less than 30 minutes on foot.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Torquay Railway Station exit onto Hennapyn Road and then almost immediately turn right onto Rathmore Road. Turn right onto Torbay Road and continue for 0.4 miles. Turn left and the hotel will be on your left. BY CAR: From the M5 continue onto Devon Expressway/A38 following signs for Plymouth/Torquay/A380. After 2.3 miles use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left onto A380(signs for Torquay). After a further 14.3 miles at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Marldon Rd. After 0.6 miles turn right onto Nut Bush Lane and continue for 1.2 miles. Turn right onto Herbert Road and follow this route which continues onto Seaway Lane. Turn right onto Old Mill road and then at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Cockington Lane. After 0.2 miles turn right onto Torbay Road and then make a left for the hotel.
