Opened in 1928 to serve passengers for the Croydon Aerodrome, the 4* London Croydon Aerodrome Hotel offers contemporary, stylish rooms, whilst still retaining some original features. All of the 110 rooms are tastefully decorated and have modern ensuite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. In-room amenities include flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, work desk & chair, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. During their stay hotel guests have access to the adjacent Health Club, which includes fully equipped gym and heated in-door swimming pool, at a discounted rate. The Aerodrome Restaurant is open for breakfast from 6.30am-9.30am (8am-10.30am at weekends) and offers a menu of popular British dishes every evening from 5.30pm.

Just 12 miles from Central London, 15 minutes by train to London Bridge from East Croydon Station, which is 2 miles from the hotel, 10 minutes by taxi. Gatwick Airport is also a 15-minute train journey away and approximately 30 minutes by car. The hotel is also close to popular attractions such as Chessington World of Adventure which is 30 minutes drive and Thorpe Park which is 50 minutes by car. Onsite car parking is available on a first come first served basis at a discounted rate of £5 per night to hotel guests.

Getting there:

BY ROAD: From M25 Junction 7, use the left 2 lanes to take the M23(N) exit to Croydon. After 0.8 miles merge onto M23 and after 1.2 miles continue onto London Road N/A23. After 4.5 miles use the 2nd from the left lane to turn left onto Banstead Rd/A23. Use the middle lane to turn right onto Foxley Ln/A23. Keep left to continue onto Purley Way/A23 for approximately 1 mile and the hotel will be on your left.
FROM GATWICK AIRPORT Head south-west towards Ring Rd S. Exit the roundabout onto M23 heading to London/Brighton/Crawley/Dartford/Heathrow Airport/M25. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the M23 slip road to M25/London/Dartford/Heathrow Airport and merge onto M23. Continue for the next 9 miles and then onto London Road N/A23 for 4.5 miles. Use the 2nd from the left lane turn left onto Banstead Rd/A23. Use the middle lane to turn right onto Foxley Ln/A23. Keep left to continue onto Purley Way/A23 for approximately 1 mile and the hotel will be on your left.
