Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From Newcastle Manors Station take the pedestrian overpass onto Trafalgar Street. Turn right onto Melbourne Street and then left onto City Road. Turn left again to stay on City Road and then after 0.1 miles continue onto Milk Market. Milk Market turns slightly left and becomes Sandgate, the hotel will then be on the right. BY CAR: From A1, exit at junction 66, take the A167 for Gateshead(South). After 0.3 miles at Eighton Lodge Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Durham Road/A167. Continue for 3.8 miles make a slight left onto Gateshead Highway/A167. Continue to follow this route onto High Street and then take the slip road to City Centre(South)/Walker/A186. Merge onto Swan House Roundabout and, Stay on this route and make a slight left onto City Road. Turn right for Pandon Bank and then left back onto City Road. Continue straight onto Milk Market and then turn to left where there is a sharp right towards Sandgate. Turn left onto Sandgate for the hotel.
