A UNESCO World Heritage sight, famous for it`s historic architecture, this square is home to a number of museums as well as the 15th century Gothic town hall. Rue Neuve, the main shopping street, is less than 10 minutes walk and using the tram network visitors can visit other areas of the city within a short journey.

BY TRAIN: From Gare du Midi, take a train to Central Station (1 stop) and exit onto Boulevard L`imperatrice. Continue along this route onto Boulevard de Berlaimont and then turn left onto Rue d`Assaut
