The Point A Edinburgh St Andrew`s Square, opened in 2026, has 210 rooms designed in a contemporary, minimalist style, with the focus on comfort and relaxation. Although compact they are well appointed with space saving features and en-suite bathrooms with power shower. Some rooms are inside facing, without windows, but are all fully air-conditioned and have individually controlled mood lighting. There are also rooms available with views of St Andrew Square and all have comfortable Hypnos beds, flat screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi,& ensuite bathrooms with power showers. Continental breakfast, which can be added during the booking process, is served in the hotel lobby, where there is also a fully licensed bar.

Just a 5 minute walk from Waverley Station and close to the popular Prince`s Street, the 3* Point A St Andrew`s Square is in an ideal location for exploring Edinburgh on foot. Edinburgh Castle is a pleasant 15-minute walk from the hotel, offering great views across the city and beyond. The Royal Mile, which runs from the castle to Holyrood Palace, is an ancient thoroughfare with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. Calton Hill also known for it`s panoramic city views is less than 10-minutes away on foot. PLEASE NOTE: Guests wishing to leave luggage pre check-in or post check-out will be charged 3GBP per bag.
Getting there:
BY TRAIN: From Waverley Station exit onto Princes Street. Use the pedestrian crossing to cross Princes Street and walk up S St David Street. Turn left onto St Andrew Square or the hotel.
