This historic members club, also open to non-members, has 27 individually designed rooms combining traditional and modern decor and furnishings. In-room facilities include flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities and complimentary Molton Brown toiletries. Executive Rooms, King Rooms and Four Poster Rooms also have the added luxury of bathrobes and slippers. The Abercromby Dining Room serves full Scottish breakfast daily as well as a traditional dinner menu Tuesday-Saturday evenings. The hotel`s Cocktail Bar and Lounge is open throughout the day serving sandwiches and light snacks and is the perfect place to relax after a days sightseeing and shopping. Hotel and location:

The 3* Royal Scots Club is housed in an historic Georgian building, located within walking distance of the city centre. Located in the New Town area the hotel is 18 minutes walk from The Royal Mile which is the heart of historic Edinburgh, linking Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood. Whilst strolling between these two great landmarks visitors can also make a stop at the Museum of Edinburgh which charts the cities fascinating history. The hotel is also just a 10 minute stroll to the bustling Princes Street with its fantastic shops, restaurants and bars.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN:From Waverley Station exit the station using the Waverley Steps. Turn left onto Princes Street.. Turn right on to Hanover Street and continue straight on crossing George Street. At the Junction with Queen Street keep going straight ahead on to Queen Street Gardens East. Take the next right in to Abercromby Place, the hotel will be on your left
BY CAR: Leave the A74 at junction 13 and take the A702 exit for Edinburgh/Lanark/A73. At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A702. Stay on the A702 by taking the 2nd exit at the next 2 roundabouts. Continue on for approximately 22 miles and take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto Carlops Road/A702. Follow the A702 for the next 12 miles and then at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Biggar Road/A702. After 0.9 miles turn right onto Buckstone Terrace, continue on and you will come onto Braid Road. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Hermitage Drive and then turn left onto Braid Avenue. Take the next left onto Cluny Gardens and then turn left onto Oswald Road and then left again onto Kilgraston Road. Follow the road onto Marchmont Road and the turn left onto Melville Drive/A700. Continue to follow A700, which after about 0.9miles turns right and becomes Princes Street. Follow this road to turn left which comes onto Charlotte Street/Princes Street/South Charlotte Street. Continue onto Charlotte Square and then onto North Charlotte Street. North Charlotte turns right and becomes Albyn Place. Continue onto Queen Street and then turn left onto Queens Street Gardens East. Take the next right onto Abercromby Place and the hotel will be on your left. Car Parking:

No on-site parking. There is a QPark multi-storey car park on Greenside Row EH1 3AN, which is approximately 13 minutes walk away. There are parking meters outside the hotel, ideal for use while unloading luggage and checking in.
