The hotel is home to the beautifully restored 1912 Seafood & Steak Restaurant, which offers amazing views over the sea that can be enjoyed over one of the delicious dishes on the menu paired with a glass of house wine. The Lansdowne Hotel is a 3* hotel located on the stunning Eastbourne seafront. The hotel is just a 15-minute walk through the town from Eastbourne Train Station, making transport into Eastbourne and around East Sussex easy. Eastbourne Pier is a traditional Victorian pier offering amusements and seaside food and drink and is situated a 15-minute walk across the seafront from the hotel. Lovers of art will appreciate free entry into the Towner Eastbourne art gallery 4-minutes away from the hotel, along with The Congress Theatre next door. The hotel is dog-friendly and in the perfect location for walking as it is directly opposite the seafront, which has a lovely walk to Holywell along with breath-taking views.

Getting there:

FROM TRAIN STATION: Walk east on Terminus Rd towards Ashford Rd. Turn right onto Gildredge Rd and then take a slight left to stay on the same road. Continue until the right turn onto College Rd and turn right again to stay on College Rd. Take a slight left and continue onto Wilmington Gardens. Turn right onto King Edward`s Parade/B2103 and the hotel will be on the right.
FROM A27 SOUTHBOUND: Head east on A27 towards Brown Jack Ave, which turns right and becomes Eastbourne Rd/A2270. Continue for 2 miles and at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Willingdon Rd, then continue for another 2 miles. Continue onto Upperton Rd and follow until the roundabout, where you take the 2nd exit onto Grove Rd. Take the slight left and continue until the left turn onto Silverdale Rd. Turn right to stay on this road and turn left onto King Edward`s Parade. The hotel will be on the left.
