Hotel and location:The Parliament Hotel (formerly the Arlington Temple Bar) is situated opposite historic Dublin Castle in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar`s vibrant West End. Many of Dublin`s main attractions such as The Trinity and National Museum, Trinity College, The National Gallery, Christchurch, St Patrick`s Cathedral and the famous Guinness Factory are all within an easy 10 minute walk of the hotel. Guests can take a leisurely 5 minute stroll to Henry and Grafton Street which are lined with fine shops and fantastic bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and needs.

Getting there:FROM TRINITY COLLEGE: Stand with your back to the main gates and the street in front is Dame St. walk on up and you will pass Central Bank on your RHS and 3 or 4 minutes walk from there you will see the hotel on your right, opposite Dublin castle. 

FROM BUSARUS: Cross the river at the bridge at the top of Amien St and turn right following the river up to O`Connell Bridge and take a left there on to Westmorlan St and right again at Trinity College follow Dame St. for 5 minutes and the hotel is on your right opposite the gates to Dublin Castle.

Rooms fine although the second smaller bed could do with a new mattress. You could hear the springs every time you moved.

"All looking a bit tired"
The room was a little tired in decor but the staff were friendly and welcoming.  There were no teaspoons with tea cups at breakfast which was bizarre and most inconvenient.  The breakfast was advertised as a full Irish but with no falls or soda bread, instead cheap bread was available.  The breakfast felt mass produced and tasted a little bland.

"Just what we wanted"
Apart from providing a death trap of an iron sent to my room this hotel was ideal for this trip. I was on a stag do! The large bar downstairs was warm and welcoming and the prices (compared to others in Dublin) were fair. The breakfast was excellent too. Overall would definitely stay here again as its location is second to none.
